If you put a 200sma on a daily chart you'll notice how price was looking really weak and that sma was providing good resistance. I waited about a day for price to setup nicely for me. I was just being patient really hope that helps some.

Update :

Trade triggered. A scalper would completely exit now, a trend trader would cover his position. Wait for price to reveal new supply zone where to move our SL , this way we will lock some profit :

Sorry for jumping in. I do trade USDJPY exclusively at this point. I am trying to find a good place with articles and insights into USDJPY and Tokyo session in particular. For example, I remember I read years ago that, I think, April is a month when Japanese companies are doing taxes or report profits so they massively bring home their profits from all over the place which probably should push the USDJPY chart down etc. So I am looking for this kind of information to get a better feeling for JEN's behavior.

Google search does not really bring anything interesting so I thought that maybe people who reside here might know some sources.

Any advice please?

50% fib retracement, SMA's above... short USD/JPY at 105.24 and will add more if it touches 105.50
