I​ am with you on that one, a lot of positive US numbers lately, S&P all-time high. No reason for the FED anymore to wait much longer. possibly rates will go up in the US in the not so distant future and the UK possibly cut rates next month, big companies relocating and the services PMI last Friday showed the first sign of the Brexit. On the monthly chart touch of 1,350 as retrace and the weekly down with FED coming up next week. Monthly drop doesn't seem like slowing down with only 1 week to go this month.

Guys,
I am new to metatrader and accidentally had one click trading turned on. About 1 hour before market close yesterday I went to buy 0.01 Lots of GBPUSD. My account equity really isn't very big so thats a fair amount for me. Anyway I ended up misclicking and buying 0.04 lots, which is a huge amount (for me). Anyway, I noticed this about 3 mins after the market was going to close and it was in small loss making territory so i decided to put a really tight TP so hopefully i could scalp like 10 pips. Anyway, it got to about 20:59 (GMT) I went to close the trade and it wouldn't let me. Now I'm stuck over the weekend, unable to close this massive leverage buy trade and worry that I will literally evaporate my account come Sunday evening (GMT).

In short, I want to ask as Im new to trading --- Does the market open on Sunday at the exact same price as it closed on Friday or will there be a pip gap? And if so how large will the pip gap be roughly?? Im bit scared and hoping that on Sunday when the markets open Ill spam close position and hope I only lose a could of £. Im seriously worried about this stupid mistake I made.

Also what time is the latest I can close a trade (GMT) on Friday? As I tried to at like 1min before official close but I wasn't able to?? I am with ICMarkets.

Nobody knows exactly what price market will open because banks are allowed to trade weekends as well.
Most likely your stop will get hit because of wider spread when it opens.
Try reducing your leverage.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

Hello .... you can trade all weekend with" IQ Option "..( not easy), and you can get a demo account and you can see where the price goes ..

Seems I was wrong, sorry.. IQ have changed since I last looked , I did use the demo at weekends for Eur/Usd . But now it's only Bit Coin. ..

by trading 0.04 lots u definitely cannot become the wolf of wall street.. It depends on the weekend activity whether gap or no gap. hopefully nothing has happened till now. so need not worry. even if a gap down may not be more than 30 pips.markets open 10 pm GMT. even if your account is 100 dollars still u should not worry. you will need 250 pips gap down to burst your account

I think we have all done that kind of thing. Try placing 1 lot instead of .1 haha. or a sell instead of a buy, or maybe even a trade on the wrong pair? It happens...

We may even start with a Gap up on Monday morning.

Pair has a bearish outlook for the start of the week. Expect a dip to1.30725 and support at 1.30561 for price action. If support is broken, 1.30124, 1.29830, 1.29562, 1.29293, 1.29158, 1.28804.
