ok lets not forget this is a 3 year trend ,I could def see the retrace of that move what with USD not able to raise rates no matter ,

yea cool bit off piste there , Brexit is the main theme cable ...
but I would always go back people voted in their experience ,if there is a grouping ,its more likely the groups are direct, benefit against ~no benefit,
now or for future view imo ,
can't be sub dividing the country by IQ gender , age ,location or anything else ,
its much more basic
its an academic thats come up with that kind of thought process in first place,

FOMC minutes due at 19:00 GMT
Recent comments seem more hawkish from Williams and Dudley
Reading the FOMC statement seems to acknowledge weakness overseas - but does not think that it will have an impact in the US and maintains path of gradual interest rate increases.
Would assume that the minutes reflect this

half day is a pin ,price is diverging ,one good thing is this is really moving range wise ,my reading data would need to be super good USD for rise given situ

Wall Street’s odds have reversed since the Brexit vote.
Wall Street is betting Brexit will change the minds of the Janet Yellen and the Federal Reserve.
The probability of a federal funds rate hike at the Fed’s next three monthly meetings has collapsed to 0%, and traders are assigning a less than 8% chance of a rate increase at all this year.

GBP/USD barely moved after the FOMC minutes, trading just above 1.29 level, failed to regain 1.30 level, next support zone can be found around 1.27/26 zone.

well I guess he says he's independent ,but many were not happy how he basically backed remain ,and continues to talk so pessimistically, along with Osborne ,
with a lot politically up in the air
Osborne another negative leave team member thats not going to change his mind
is connected to Carney ?

these people I'm sure can talk us into recession ,if not changed ,aren't we looking at the very least at a couple of people who have a vested interest in being right about doom ,in the real world of business same situ would be sacked regardless if they are right or wrong.

put a remain'er in charge as PM ,that person will always have a get out clause later.

George Osborne has stunned the City by announcing that Mark Carney, the Canadian central banker, will replace Sir Mervyn King as the next Governor of the Bank of England.

The Chancellor said that Mr Carney, a Canadian citizen, would apply for British citizenship. His wife, Diana, and four daughters already have joint Canadian and British citizenship. Mr Carney is expected to receive a salary of 624,000. This is more than double the remuneration of the outgoing Governor, but the Treasury said last night that the difference was largely accounted for by the fact that Mr Carney will not be enrolled in the Bank’s generous pension scheme.

Thinking of going long on Cable - limit order circa 1.280
Should be risk free if filled- don't think that the selling that happened last night will be as aggressive
Plus price bounced off this level last night (fib as well)
Also reading the minutes of the FOMC - makes me think that as Brexit has now happened chances of Fed raising rates are zero
Finally they are taking Brexit seriously
Are they aware the UK is going to go into recession and will probably take the EU with it
And I think that the NFP estimate is a bit high
