I've entered short at 3095 with plus 8 SL so free trade
SL was at 3126 but moved it to positive once price went down to 3060 area

As we had such a big drop after brexit I'm finding it hard to get any meaningful TL so not sure but will look at 2900 as TP, round number...now as I see it, it has to breech 3053 for further falls

yes "Unpredictable Brexit Situation". As pro trader, i will not buy Cable before see clear Support. Scalping with lower time frame or trade other pairs are recommemded.

Agree very difficult right now.Hence hippiedog is now scalping 1min charts.I'm using BB setting 100/2 for 1min buying oversold for TP at upper BB with entry trigger being close over 10 EMA.No stop loss and increased lot sizes at every lower close over 10 EMA for TP upper BB band.Working extremely well.

Sounds like a great system...I've never used BBs and would have to study up on it to fully understand what your doing.

Yes indicators are not best for fx but they are good for some strategys. With 1 min chart you can 100% know that price will touch both upper and lower bands throughout the day.This strategy is best applied in afternoon when markets quieten down after the days volatility.Trades can take 1-3hours to close.If compounding place 10-20pips per trade.So that will be a day... Not bad results.Never place target above the bands or below the bands.
Save I am still adding 1 small position each day for TP upper BB setting 20/1 on daily.But for the moment scalping 1min charts during the afternoon.
You can add trend line on 1 min when confirmed overbought or oversold.Very straight forward.

Went in short @ 1.324, cashed in at 1.318 and then went long straight after that expecting an upswing after the big sellofff today. Currently at -125 pips tho, so yeah.. yikes.

hi, hippiedog, great scalping suggestion. quick q on the BB setting 100/2: 2 is for the deviation, correct? do you put any number in the "shift"? i have it as "0" right now, thanks...

okay so GBP is toast i see.... non of my biz though EAUD is owing another 500 pips up. EURGBP is cable control room but so far it is not showing signs of slowing down. Once cable hits 5 on that chart then a sweet sell signal is awaited which is a good buy on GUSD. until then i will observe. So far 47 Consecutive wins and 153 remaining to complete project.

Hi baldmonk.Yes correct it is 100/2 and not 100/02. The deviation is 2.Alligator can work with this as well.
You can add a second set of BB at setting 100/3 for confirmed oversold and overbought.
I am trading on mobile and I use trading 212.Highly recommend this platform.
