I said some things that maybe are not so easy to understand if you do not know the terms I'm using. You should start, if you like, to read the market profile handbook. Anyway in my last post I highlighted that current GB session has a very narrow range and that the period of 30 min called "H" is inside the period 30 min called "G": In such a situation a break out is possible. Then I precised that this could happen in both directions, up or down, and finally I put in evidence the possible near targets above and below.

I also said that the GB gap down (the distance from yesterday GB session low and today GB open) is still in place and this could mean a possible resistance upward, because, generally a gap is not retraced during the first session. (generally)

As you can see from my 30 min chart i'm still short at 1.3320, I figure further downside toward 1.32.

Thanks Lock....good to know I was on the right track, my own analysis is saying the same, that is unless there is some news out today from the US I can't see this going any higher than 1.3350

From the zoomed out daily chart we can see we are in a narrow range.

What was in the charts to short cable at 3320? Good call cause it dropped 70 pips before retracing...

I really don't know if it can higher or not. I've no idea at all about that. I was saying that a possible break out was underway and I underlined the possible near targets below and above. By the way currently price is breaking up from H period that was inside G period as said.

It was an order based on yesterdays daily bar pivot and intraday resistance at around 1.3340. It activated whilst I was asleep in the night.

I played it a little too safe tbh and went in early at 3320, bit of a mistake as I could have got in at 3340

Thanks.I agree.I think unstable now until ISM manufacturing PMI and then any break to the down side will be short lived, although possibly volatile.possible fakey on 4H on its way this afternoon.
