Yes unless the stop loss is hit. I know that there might be a lot of volatility today but I use a small stop loss. I currently have 5 short EURGBP positions. Either they will be very profitable or be closed at close to break-even. I have also sold EURUSD and bought USDJPY which will soon be closed at a stop loss or moved to close to break-even.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone who has completed 'Miliepede' PDF file with chart images up to the very last post of Grame?
I have a PDF file that has 711 page, until Nov 7 2010, but there is more post from him until 2011 April or something.
I've been reading this file more than 3 times word by word but really want to see the missing part with images.

I hope that people are building some legs now. The spread is very tight. I have sold GBP/JPY because it looks like the UK will leave the EU and Japan is a save haven for people who wants to sell their pounds.

Edit: Looking like a remain now.

Edit2: Now it looks like a leave. This is very exciting. Lots of money to be made or lost

Here you can see the power of stacking during important news. As shown in the picture above I sold GBP/JPY and stacked very aggressively. I did that because the live results on https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2...it-referendum/ showed that the brexit would likely happen. I have closed all open positions because I don't think that the price could continue to go down after moving more in a few hours than it usually does in a month. Does anyone else think that it would be a good idea just to trade after important news and then stack very aggressively instead of looking at charts all day?

The fed has increased the interest rate once this year and is expected to do it again. Japan is probably not going to increase the rate anytime soon, so we can expect a rate differential for at least a few years. I'm currently looking for a breakout on USDJPY and I plan on stacking very aggressively if the breakout happens.

This is how I'm stacking. I just look at the charts to find good setups and then I add every minute that a candle closes significantly lower than it opened(in a downtrend). Not all trades will survive but that's okay. When enough do in a strong trend the profits add up quickly. After some time I can close some of the trades and let the rest go to either break-even or a huge profit.

It's probably better to stack on a larger time frame where a candle is much bigger than the spread.

Just combine it with fundamental analysis and only trade in the direction that you believe a currency pair will go based on fundamental factors. Also take into account what different banks say about the forex market. It looks like there is agreement that USD/JPY will increase a lot. According to scotiabank it could maybe go up to 125 in 2017. That's an increase of about 21 %. Don't tell me that you can't earn a fortune by building an equity millipede on such a move or that you couldn't have made a lot of money on the Australian carry trade, by shorting USD during QE, by selling EUR/USD during tapering in the U.S. and QE in Europe or by selling AUD/USD when Australia began cutting interest rates. Take a look at what I said about AUD/USD in this thread in 2012 and then compare the price at that time to the current price. Could you not have made money with a directional equity millipede strategy? I'm sure that you could.

HA - not "gotten rich", but doing really OK.

As for "nobody that was using this system from the start is still using it today" - WRONG.

I am curious on what you base your claim. Not that it really matters that much

People need to find their own edge and use this to push it further.

Not sure if anyone here is trading silver but there might be a good equity millipede opportunity here. But be careful. It doesn't look like the price is expected to rise a lot in 2016 or 2017. But you never know. It has been much higher in the past. This chart is inflation adjusted with the most recent month as the base.
