That was weird, on Forex.com (1st TE) it was on fixed instead of increment (do not remember changing it) and just opened 130 contracts in 2 min for same pair(all other pairs still on increment). I have not changed to the new version on that demo yet.

I had this happen with a Gold trader I was working on. Logic was completely fucked over by not updating.

Triggering requires a condition to be met, on both entries and exits.

If/Then...

The logic behind both Falling Knives and Lost Sock isn't based on 100% absolutes, it is based on reasonable ranges and higher probabilities.

We have all witnessed the results of the Brexit referendum on an account or 2 which looks a lot like total account annihilation.

IF I changed the Triggers for entries or exits at this point, it would completely change the entire dynamics of the logic. Coding in exceptional circumstances may make a difference on price spikes, but could be detrimental to the overall profiting factor.

Keep in mind, the system, cost averaging and pyramiding is playing the odds....looking for probabilities.

If the trend is down and we continue to sell, we are likely to meet a profiting criteria that is looking for a reasonable range to time frame.
If the trend reverses, we reasonably expect to be able to cost average out of this.
If the extension continues to the point of complete reversal, we are going to try and drag the losers into victory.
IF not, we will see a stop loss hit.

Given the amount of times, with the exception of last week, that the logic has actually hit the stop loss value, a certain appreciation must be lent to the fact that we are working with the highest probabilities and that if we continue to play by the rules we will continue to win by these rules.

Life and trading, for consistency, is based on rules.
Not exceptions.

I know what you are saying and have an account with the same GBPAUD trades open...running a side-by comparison for the "Lost Sock".
Much as I too hate to see this many positions and a sizable draw on the account, it follows the understanding that we've succeeded through some fairly incredible shit...not much reason for me to believe that anything different will happen.

Thanks man Trusting the logic and the history on that by now but that implying to me that 1600 balance for 4-7 Pairs is risky or just let margin call come in and take the loss. Just trying to find the edges here while fully into Live trading with it

The excessive ranges created last week, change the standard dynamics of our expectations.

Over the weekend, when I stated that I will be sitting out another week of market waiting for normalization, this is what I was referring to.

To correct the size of the market range, we will need 3-5 days without a massive counter spike that would completely fuck things to the counter side.

This is a bit of a delicate balance and especially with a $1600 balance.

I am still sitting out live with my account, near double that size for safety...I can wait a little while longer to try and ensure that the dynamics of ranges goes back to the code understanding of standard range deviations.

Given the history, it would take an incredible stroke of bad luck to find the single day that blows up your account...but I can't say that I haven't been there before.

Your explanations are very clear and helpful. And yes this week is still in Brexit and last week is still on chart.
Will work on patience over here and think about to raise my balance to sleep as a baby

Expiration date of the code is set to July 02, 2016 - same as the previous version.

After that, hopefully the vendor will be online.



Me...I too will be sitting out of market this week with the EAs.

28 Pairs is doing nice as is the Lost Sock (alternate). This will be fine for me to watch this week and work on next.

Next week being an NFP week, may be short lived for me, but will be testing live on a couple.
