There is a lot of liquidation going on by big and small hedge funds right now - margin and collateral calls will be massive overnight. Best bet between institutions and BoE they will defend 1.38 for at least a few hours. As I said above if youre short fear this kind of action. Best bet is to trade gold and silver long and trade treasuries long

Right, apologies for OT, but this seems to be the most lively thread (for obvious reasons)



Anyone any experience with a missing W8BEN form on holding US shares by any chance? This sterling fall got me quite nice returns, but struggling to find weather W8BEN is only preventing 30% tax deduction on dividends, or all of the profits.

To say something topic specific, I'm in the UK, and I'm freaking baffled by the results so far.
