Good point as a start. In this environment a weak reference is a price level used by weak hands. Big funds, investors, institutions do not use or even know about those references and for this reason, when you see a move starting from a weak ref, you know that that particular move could be retraced more easily then others in the near future.

latest Brexit polls are scheduled for release at 5pm EST today after market close so it might not be a good idea to keep trades open for this pair

For me trading is serious- I am really good at it

I have spent so much time and money on courses and research - I could not treat it as fun

If I want to have fun- I'll play with the kids

I use news, sentiment, fundamentals, order levels, volume and price to determine - when I enter trades

Plus a have a super fast news feed, plus a load of other stuff

This morning I said that the market could rally, then come off- (when NY opened)- then was going to rally - (it did all these things)

I know how to trade all the main figures (CPI, GDP, NFP etc....) when announced irrespective of any market condition

On leverage - I use a low leverage - so I am not bothered about risk

Anyway good luck with your trading

Keep your feet on the ground. Don't get carried away by what you have achieved this far. It will be good to stay humble and keep learning to have a consistently profitable trading edge over the market.

  1. 14581 pit low is Back to back with a previous GB ref already tagged today. So is weak. But the last liquidation remove a lot of short activity from the market. So is less probable at least for today.

Hi

I should really be watching the football

GU is usually flat during the Asian session - at the moment we have no news coming through

So personally, I won't trade tonight

News that we had yesterday tends not to carry over into two sessions

Obviously Brexit polls are the one thing that is moving the markets

There has been releases of polls during the Asian session - so I would keep an eye on the news

I have got trade the news - which beeps when something important comes through

However, not sure if there will be any tonight - need to check

Will do an update later about 11 pm (ish) GMT

People, I know you're taking strain understanding this trading thing.... But I'm sure this will help (me know which of you are traders and who are trolls... And who's is new and going to lose all their money anyway)

So for those of you who haven't realised it yet....
i finally found the amazing scalping strategy i have been looking for all my life!!!!
CableRiddle v1.0 (87.9% accuracy):
you make 1 trade per day on the GBPUSD
your "day" ends at 4:59EST and starts at 5pm EST
use 60-minute chart with the MACD and RSI on the chart
each day at 5pm EST you start watching the chart. it may take hours and hours of watching the chart, but keep watching until the high or low for the day has been hit.
as soon as the daily high or low has been hit on the 60-minute charts, switch to your 1-minute charts. if the daily high or low has also been hit on the 1-minute chart, the signal is confirmed.
after the signal is confirmed enter the trade immediately. if it is the high for the day that has been hit, go short. if it is the daily low that has been hit, go long.
set stop loss of 15 pips and a profit target of 25 pips.
