I have a question for you....I see a lot of the time the top of the hour and the bottom of the hour will move the markets even when no news is happening
what goes?

Markets must like the news....no plunging so far

think they are waiting for "BOE Gov Carney Speaks" ? in 45 mins~

what next presently I see the market going up but I am still looking for a short position until prove otherwise

slow before news im tired, done for today

I am waiting for the range to end before I open any positions, right now it's just too risky in my opinion.

US news came in below expectations, does that mean a rise in euro and pound?

dollar index is still strong, so I guess more range play for GBPUSD

Tomorrow should be interesting. US retail sales figures out, estimate seems a bit high. Talk of interest rates hikes in US being deferred to at least September and better Brexit polls make me think about going long on the GU. Also talk of any interest rate cuts in the UK seem to have disappeared

In addition the S&P now looks to be on a downward trend- which reduces even further the chances of a rate cut- plus there has been some poorish earnings from the US (Apple now at a 4 year low!)

Cable is down at the moment near support levels. Placed an entry at around 1.4200. This is a 00 and a fib level. Really like 1.4100 level but not sure if it will reach it

Dollar firmed up a bit today - hopefully it will carry through over the Asian session, although appears to be weakening at the moment. If the GU rallies overnight, hopefully the UK traders will oblige in the morning
