calculate spread in value, no in points.
it is going OK with me so far. The chart does not gap, price moves normally pulling back frequently, something EG104 needs.
I am demoing it, nothing live yet.

Hi bauta, could you take the time to add a variable that allows us to control when expand grid starts? You said it starts after the 4th grid level but in my demo tests, I've had more success with it starting at lower increments, like the 2nd or 3rd grid level. Thanks.

I just follow the instructions for the EG104_DayTarget EA, but it doesn't open any position...

Can you tell me where i do the mistake?

Dynamic_Grid is used to expand the grid distance in case the grid does not closes as expected. it affect the distance between lines. The expansion is done by the Dynamic_Percent_Increase parameter, in percent and after the fourth level.

Normally, EG104 should close a cycle before the five level. it is assumed that as more the price moves to one direction, biggest are the odds the price will retrace and the retracement will be bigger. that is one of the reasons I do start expanding at the 4 level.
Why not before?
it is important to set it all in equilibrium, making the grid distance bigger reduces the quantity of executions and the quantity of levels, but it negatively affect grid profit factor and increases exposure.
example: in symmetry, the grid always have one side wining and one side losing, the wining side is good, not worries about wining, the losing side is the one needed to get managed. EG104 average down breakeven to close the losing side at the first pullback, if the grid distance is too big, the pullback does not hit it and the grid does not closes, it means we will need to wait for the next pullback and hope this one will be bigger. Now, if the grid distance is small, the EA will close at the first pullback and then start over.
What is negative having small grid distances? if the price moves in one direction and don't retrace, the cycle will accumulate too many positions and margin will not be enough to cover it. Here is where equilibrium is on play.
if you have enough money, reduce grid distance and your risk will increase and profit will increase, if you do not have enough money, increase grid distance and your profit will be reduced, time exposure will be longer and risk will be reduced.

In normal conditions, enough money, etc. The Dynamic_Grid parameter should be set to false.
I my default settings I have it set to true and Dynamic_Percent is set to 10.

Note that grid distance between lines is controlled by GridSizePips, GridSizeFactor, Dynamic_Grid and Dynamic_Percent.
I do use pips on my parameters, not points. if your broker is five digits, one pip is 10 points.

Now that we integrated EG104_DayTarget with news event filters, EG104 may perform better and grid distance may be reduced.
if I do find better parameters defaults, I will post here.

IMPORTANT: EG104_DayTarget can be added to only one chart on the entire terminal, it will control all the positions at once.

EG104_DayTarget does not open positions, it closes positions when targets 1% as default. You need to open positions by other via, manually, by EAs, by EG104 (preferred) and so on.
Also note that EG104 does not open positions on Fridays by default.

EG104_DayTarget is an optional EA that does not have to be present to the EG104 to work. EG104_DayTarget is a daily target management EA.
This EG104_DayTarget EA can be added to the terminal only once, if you are trading EURUSD, USDJPY and EURJPY you does not need EG104_DayTarget three times, you add EG104_DayTarget only once per terminal, not once per pair.

I did added a new target type to EG104_DayTarget. Now they are "Closure_Mode", "Closure_Forced" and "Forced_Only"
In closure_Mode the EG104_DayTarget will target, let's said 1% and set all charts in closure mode, Closure_Force will target 1% and set the charts in closure, then when equity targets 1% it will close all positions, Forced_Only will not set charts in closure mode, it will wait for the equity to target 1% and then it will close all positions.

This is my first posting here but I have been following your progress for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with your knowledge and willingness to help others. KUDO'S! to you! My problem is that i am working seven days a week right now and don't have time to monitor trades. How can I set EA to profit $5, $10, or more bucks a day and stop trading at the designated target price? If I cancel "continue" then trades don't start at all. If I allow "continue" then account is blown before I even get home to check progress. I want to close at profit once target is hit. Is this possible? Thank u in advance.

I did add a shortcut in EG104_DayTarget to reset the last date it did targets.
Please re-download on post one first.
To reset last date follow this instructions:

1. Click the label "Last Date: "
2. a dialog prompt for Yes or No, click Yes
3. date is now reset.

I forgot to mention I can only use ScalperGrid mode for FIFO compliance. I have USA broker but I really want this to work for me. I just need a bit more guidance. Thank you, BoHanna
