Thanks @MasterGuru for always sharing your settings with the results you're posting. It's very helpful and makes it easier to follow
Please note that Start Hour and Floating Profit Close are not part of the standard system and added as I saw few posts asking for them.
You can disable Start Hour parameter by setting it to zero.
and disable Floating Profit Close parameter by setting to a high value (999999).

By disabling these 2 inputs the EA should run as in remon's Video Part 2.
If not, let me know.

I tried it Friday and it worked well. Closed two, nice, sell-only baskets. I will continue to experiment with the reversal bar filter
tonight. I'll post my results in a few days.
For those of you who have BTed the R&R EA and are planning to forward test it: don't forget to reset the Global Variables to zero
Otherwise the EA will start wrong from the beginning

hopwood has some kind of new fix up. i'd post it but i'm banned.
I found a bug and fixed it.
Still, I don't know if this is normal or not, one or two buys and sells keep hanging on the outer side of the trading range. see picture.

I get always bad results, i start with orig. settings and try it with different settings , but always bad results?? old vers.!

Another bug fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience (still testing).

Test on EUR/JPY from 1/1/2016. Nice profit, but Huge draw downs. I am using 0.1 lot on 10,000 account.

First of all, I would like to thank remon78eg for sharing this intriguing concept. Also, thanks to Voldemar227, MasterGuru, Abokwaik and countless others for their massive contributions. I have been a "silent observer" for quite some time here on FF BUT... THIS thread has piqued my curiosity and has now got me thinking of ways to perfect this concept. I have been trading for nearly five years but, I have always shied away from using EAs. I don't know the FIRST thing about how to use one but, I am heading to Google right now to see if I can find step-by-step instructions on how to apply an EA to a chart. What I would kindly like is for anyone to suggest which EA I should commence with. I am more than happy to try them all but, I would like some input on which one might make my FIRST EA experience a memorable one. LOL!

Hi Bomax,

I am a big fan of the EA I have attached to this post. It seems to be the most reliable in my opinion. We still need to have a successful part 2 of the strategy programmed somewhere but in the mean time part 1 of this thread's strategy stands strong on its own.

Feel free to PM me is you want any assistance for anything, whether it is about this EA, other EAs general forex trading (manual or automatic).

I am always happy to chat with fellow forex traders. It is all about helping each other out in an already hard area of expertise. I always want to push the envelope so that more than just 10% of traders can be successful with forex.

Thanks you for that EA, in the function you created to close at certain profit, it can be in % equity from balance starting date?, and when it reachs all orders can be closed and the EA set in "BREAK MODE" waiting for next day at the same start hour ?
