Btw, i think i saw your interest in the other thread (the one with purple, smooth etc). does it work as well on GU as compared to jpy pairs? I am experimenting it on some instruments... seems TP 20-40 ideal for day swings. When I let it run longer for bigger profits it kinda slaps me in the face. SL taken ;o

Man, I missed FOMC slept too long and missed the DST thing (woke up 1 hour later). tomorrow we gonna have a helping hand in GU from BOE. Thing is, I cant figure out whats gonna happen longer term maybe I should consider scalping like u did for 20-40 pips a day compounded.

My money is on no change.
Had bad numbers last 2 weeks and BOE policy has been unchanged for years. In fact, this news release has rarely produced any significant market response for these reasons I suspect.
We just tested the broken daily TL and 61.8 fib (daily resistance) around 4290.

Hey Mary Anne - no worries - i know what you mean - it can be like a circus this place, lol .. my take generally is although trending is cool personally i just found that with all this buy back and sell back range movements daily esp on pound dollar that scalping seems to be in reality easier - only 20 pips up and 20 pips down is enough (usually a few more for sure) its not about bragging or saying hey look i can do this or that, not at all - its just using ones mind and seeing the price changes around 6 am uk time - and opening of NYC - hope this helps .. not really using anything special on the scalping but its nice not to have carry over trades and guessing - you just know where your at - btw sure Elbert will appear he usually does .. enjoy your trades ..

Not coming down still..... if it reclaims the close from this morning's high, then this pair will probably spike up to 1.44xx

About 15-20 pips away from this morning's high.

Logical to expect some reaction from UK on last nights FOMC news - lets see how it plays later ..
No trade as yet but close to shorting for a few pips

#GBPUSD got stopped out of pound with a minor loss, its very important to put stop loss on your trades cause if your calculation are right they will do well, but if they are wrong you will be right out of the trade and suffer minor loss...... so I went long on today candle @ 1.4268 / Target of 1.4403 / SL 1.4202..... Trailing my stop for now

anyone here think its time to short? I want to short but not sure about the news, price already move more than 100 pips from today's low though
