No need to care about the location of the VPS server. Would you mind to follow my setting, where you set to GMT + 8, then the EA set file you set to "local time" with 00:00:00 to 06:00:00.. see if this works for you.

He refused to trade his EA with my recovery strategy and kicked me from the thread.

Now...bommmm!

I'm in 20% floating loss and he's gone.

Tomorrow, i will start recovery trade. Let me show you how to turn the table.

Hi jonirrencius, I know that you are using some recovery EA ... may I ask what kind of formula you are using in your EA to do the recovery.

I think you have not read my previous posts or my English is too bad to understand.

I will fail only on one condition, the GBP reversed totally today.

I dont think this will happen, cause FOMC does not has huge infuluence like NFP or bid rate.

Currect progress, recovered 5%.

Shit....blowed up..lost 80% of ACC. by mistake!

I gotta thanks to this damn indicator, it is misleading people!

On calender this is not only FOMC but also Fund rate release.....

if i noticed that, the recovey has been almost done. I will stop EA one hour before it.

Hi jonirrencius, better doppelcheck the daily news with other calenders e.g. forexlive.com. Avoid ECB, FOMC, press conferences, beige book, eurogroup, european holidays, fridays (fake) movements etc etc. There are rumours in the markets that the ECB keeping EUR/USD (now around 1.12) strong helping the US economy ... only big guys can move the markets

Who else still on this grid EA?
For past 1 week, i have decided to keep the lot size low and expand the grid from 20 to 30, then I let it run 24 hours (will try to turn off the EA few hours before red news, and if the red news didn't move too much, then I'll turn on again the EA). Will definitely stop the EA 1 day before and on the day of rate news. However, I'll put higher lot if the open positions has reached about 7 (e.g. 7 sell positions, and latest price is near position 7th), then I'll put sell stop with double/triple lot size, hope to close the cycle earlier if the price retrace.

Anyone who has better idea, feel free to post..

Radityo's GTL_HIRISK (1 cycle a day) is still running until now gain profit 75% in 37 days, although it's not avoid any news, Fed rate, ECB, and any news.

19-23 GMT trading window, 0.6% daily target, max 1 cycle a day. Avoid red news. That's all.

I'm 35% year to date.

During Yesterday slump, drawdown was very low.

Did you mean the set files? I also looking for it, haven't found.
It seem Radityo uses more than one pair but i wonder if he chose it manually on different days.
But the grids is 30 (15 grids each side). Trades mostly started around 17:00 GMT.
I like the idea of one cycle a day but also risky if do it only on one pair. I think he also set the target quite high in a cycle. Around 2-4 % a cycle? cmiiw
