DislikedHi tarwada! Thank you for your work, very impressive. I think this indicator can help to some extent in determining the trend. It would be very nice if you find it useful in the EA. {image} {file} {file}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Yes is a great indicator for me also!!! It worth a try my friends!! And I don't think it repaint. It only show where the bars are under/over 0.5, then why it needs to repaint? Anyway i'm not sure yet...Ignored
Disliked{quote} yes use completely different magic numbers on each chart..... Trailing Stop = how far the stop (by pips) will be away from the current price..... Trailing Stop Activation = when to active the trailing stop. for example : when you set the Trailing Stop to 10 and Trailing Stop Activation to 20 the stop loss will be under/above the current price by 10 pips only if you're already 20 pips in profit. otherwise the Trailing Stop will not be Activated i Hope it's clear nowIgnored
Disliked{quote} sanmiguell: Hi, The real test is to answer what does the indicator REALLY show at that moment where on the chart it seems to display a good change in price direction. In other words look at your chart. and then look at the instance where it showed the change of direction. Now did it actually do that at that moment? Or did the indicator show nothing at that moment only to have it show the change several bars later. Which is what we see now this is trading... and this is what we know..Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi xmess! Unfortunately it REPAINTS BADLY!! {image} I ran a strategy tester on m1 and you can see it repaints over 53 bars back...I really don't know why needs to repaint since he has the only work to measure the moving average degrees!Ignored

Disliked{quote} Tarwada: Please know that I am available to help with the code. One way to avoid all the confusion of the "magic number" is to use the ChartID() as the magic number. Each chart when you open it creates it's own individual ID. So when the EA starts up, you can just set the magic number = ChartID() and voala ther you have it. Let the code do that stuff for them. You can then set the magic number variable to be global or u can always use ChartID() again so u can then use that when comparing it to OrderMagicNumber(). To verify this just add...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Sam: I figured out why the indicator repaints. It has to do with what is called a loop. Think of it this way. Say you are the indicator and every 15 minutes u get say 20 candles. You then place them in order from newest to oldest and for each u calculate an MA average (u LOOP thru each, so your LOOP=20). Then comes a new candle, you place it on the table in the order from new to old. U get rid of the oldest candle (#21 now) cause u can only have 20 on the table. Again u calculate the MA for each candle. But this time you see that the MA...Ignored
DislikedFirst of all thanks a lot tarwada for this EA, looks very promising sofar. I do have a question though, just 8 minutes ago, the EA on your account opened another position as by the rules. However on my account no position was opened. Is there any way to find out why? Max trades is set to 11, so that shouldn't be the issue. ThanksIgnored
