Flying Buddha Trading Idea.. I just saw a thread, but I think this is one step ahead of that.

First we are not going to trade flying buddha blindly. I'm going to use daily for major trend.

Only take trade in the same direction with daily direction.

Don't over complicate things, don't over analyse.

Don't fight it, if a chart is not giving clear direction, move onto another chart.

Share ideas and how you think you can improve this.

I'd prefer not adding extra indicators, it's a lot as it is

Where is the system????
First; how to spot daily trend direction. It can't get any simpler.

BUY- Price Above 10ema on daily , look for only BUY.

SELL- Price Below 10ema on daily , look for only SELL


Ps: Indicators are tools, so use wisely. You're not robot, so you're not expected to trade like one. Use common sense.

Trade entry is on 15mins chart.

Trade only in direction of daily trend.

I.e = Daily trend is UP, only look for long trades on 15mins chart // Daily trend is DOWN only look for short on 15mins chart.

B;
You can ONLY BUY when price is above 89ema (on 15mins chart )

You can ONLY SELL when price is below 89ema (on 15mins chart )

C;
Putting it all together. This how your chart should look like.

Next post, I’ll describe what kind of flying buddha you’ll be trading. We’re going to be picky and not just enter on every “flying fck, excuse my french “ flying buddha that is printed on our screen.


Ps: If you don’t know what flying buddha is, 5 minutes search on google will give you all the info you need on flying buddha.
Pps: I’m not re-inventing the wheels, don’t get excited. It doesn’t have to be complicated to make money.

What is the significance of using different numbers of EMA for eg 89 and 100 EMA.
Examples of flying buddha for BUY and SELL ;

Blue arrows indicate flying buddha for buy
Red arrows indicate flying buddha for sell


Note: We’re not going to enter on every flying buddha, next post will indicate which particular flying buddha we are interested in.

hello, I would have rather taken the crossing, how do you recognize the sideways movement?
Why you think is this working for a long time? How many methods we are have here in the trading system who make use of moving averages? I wish you good luck and hope you will post in 10 years also frequently as today.
Market is more simple as you think.
I assume we all know what Flying buddha ( FB ) is now.
I’ll ONLY consider 2 types FB when looking for a trade set up BUT will mention only one here. A flying buddha that creates INSIDE BAR.

1, You confirm the major trend on daily
2, You trade in the same direction on 15mins chart.

in your post here you state that you only buy on the M15 when the price is above the 89ema & only sell when the price is below the 89ema however on your screenshots in your text you are saying to buy when above 89ema & to sell when above 89ema

I assume that is a typo??

You mention you only want to trade off an inside bar but I see many setups you posted in your screenshots using the red & blue arrows & many of those are not inside bars going by the Inside Bar description pictures you posted. Your setups are showing many with the inside bar having its wicks/shadows protruding well beyond the mother bar & in some cases even the inside bar body doing the same.

That was to show FB generally. They are usually all over the place BUT we do not trade all the FB. Trade only flying buddha that creates INSIDE BAR.

Get the tms 10ema dashboard indicator and configure it show where price is in relation to 10ema on daily chart.
