well, 2/3s of the pattern is there, I will be buying 1.4245ish area if and when it gets there, guessing it will be the fomc that sends it there. at any rate going to try buying after the release , not advising it , but something to watch for and laugh at if it fails , , maybe provide a little humor if nothing else. Weekly S2 has been the bouncing area so far today, 3rd times a charm right ? lol

Lot of screaming and yelling in here for a currency pair that has not moved all day, well... Actually the core of the market has moved up by around ten pips, the up/down is just people running in circles.

I should have stayed awake for the slide after the 1.43 buy stops were taken out... The market cleared the first critical area I mentioned days ago. (1.4240) That was potentially the first place where real buyers might hit after it was cleared... Below here there is only 1.42(Even number) and 1.4150.

These aggressive inverse V tops lately are kinda interesting. Think about the psychology of that kind of price action. It tells you short term speculators are all bum rushing in aggressively, but there is no support... The market was still a bear at it's core.

Now, if people would just start aggressively shorting and selling... Then we could get v-bottoms at this point.

Banking them for sure .. sometimes wonder though if trading two pairs is enough - and then sometimes thinking one pairs more than enough ..
Have started to look at the dollar yen recently but it reminds me of how simple the pound dollar is to trade .. sure you catching them here too ..

The only trade I would recommend is EUR/USD long once 1.1080 is broken if we get there this week. Should be a good 75-100+ pip bounce from there.

It's really struggling to work south. The uptrend is solid on the weekly, and may confirm on the monthly soon.

a likely scenario in my opinion... C leg might still be incomplete, though. valid till today's low...

You know, looking at the monthly... It would actually be odd if we didn't retest the lows in the next few months. But, I am still confident the 1.42 area will not be broken down anytime soon. Eg, we will not maintain trade below there in this selloff.

On the weekly, this was only a small retrace to the nearest fib/resistance and doesn't really make sense to me to just keep dropping from here.
So won't be surprised to see a good period of consolidation on lower TF's and a revisit of the fib to retest the broken weekly TL
