My ME/ME trading on GBPAUD

It was a good setup on D chart on 2/3
I planned to build up position as always
so I entered 0.2% position for initial entry
and I set my SL to the low of prev. reversal
but then it started to retrace and then it closed below 10 ema.
the next day 2/4, it retraced even more,
at that point I really thought the trade was invalid
but I still kept on building the position

Finally, today, the price went bullish and I decide to close when it reached the nearest historical price swing level.

my summary is
it is really hard to endure the time when the price is going the opposite direction.
Especially in this case, I entered on the 2nd blue candle, everything seemed so right,
but suddenly it went bearish..

but one of the great thing about ME/ME trading is that you don't risk all in one basket
and even when you are going the opposite direction,
you can somehow manage to breakeven

My ME/ME trading on EURAUD

found this good setup on 2/3
built 2 positions along the way
and closed when I thought it would retrace.
and then I started a new basket.
I think I closed them too soon.

Recently, I've been thinking what Big Emm said "PLAN, BUILD, RUN"
I think he means "Let it run, don't close them too soon"
close only when all EXIT conditions are meet.

Can anyone give me some advice.... PLEASE

How do we feel about this potential long on Usd/Cad D1 if we get a strong cross? It's bouncing of late Dec support.

i'll bite.
1/ looks like it's got some room to go down.
2/ but, price is above 200-period MA, so trend is up longer term. shorter term, i'd say it's flat.
3/ in consolidation area, looking to break out.
4/ previous candles small.
5/ candle's from tuesday's downside reversals look similarly small.
6/ downward momentum looks good
7/ stochs seem to confirm.

so, on balance, at least to this absolute novice, odds would favor a drop of some kind. price is below the 5ma.

but, as we now know, three bars later and we're off to the moon, making a complete fool of my little analysis.

you are fantastic congratulation
I didn't have time to do ME/ME but I was learning to get the feel of losing and then price came back to +(only GbpCad -70pips at the moment).
Thanks Emmanuel for teaching us Next I will do ME/ME
my demo(I will rearrange lot size)

it looks like there is good setup, TDI going down (4), stoch's also at the short direction.
BUT, the bigger trend is up so maybe its just correction for the big trend, also the previous candles are big and dont look like a change trend. add to that, the previous TDI was on 5 o'clock and changed to 4, so maybe its saying something about low power of the downtrend.
I wouldn't try to catch a short in this time, maybe wait for long after the small downtrend.

Whats your annalayse about that image Emm, we want to hear to master's opinion.

I didn't answer at the first time because I was thinking short was a counter trend(weekly & daily 10ema were above 50ema)
I am not good at divergence but at the moment prices moved to monthly S/R line near 1.58000. I think it'going to be some correction and TDI& STO are above 80 and also there are about 8 candle(1hr) so there should be some overbought reaction.
Since daily or H4 candle closed above monthly S/R line - chance is - prices are still going up but it would pull back to 1.5700 or 1.56400 then continue it way to another monthly S/R level around 1.5900

Hi,

every trader has his/her own reasoning to trade or not to trade.
but the simplicity is in TMS 5-Method in the original thread how Big E trade the lower timeframes.
let's give more people the opportunity to look at that chart and try answer that post.

TMS ME/ME trades closed Weeks 02 to 05 (11 Jan to 5 Feb).

Woke up early at 4 am my local time to look at the London session close and close some profitable trades for this week.
We saw some good trend run this week for some pair and some of us took advantage of those moves and made money.

Week 02 to 05 ( Jan 11 to Feb 05)
Winning trades : 185
Losing trades : 21
Total Win pips : 23,750 pips
Average Win Pips : 128 pips
Average Win Amount: $241.00
Average Lot Size : 0.28 std.
Average duration of trade : 5Days 4Hours

This account started with a base deposit of $50K and now stand at $112K as of closing 5Feb.

this is my first post here, i think green line has touched the yellow base but not able to cross firmly
and the yellow base line also not pointing to downside it is pointing upside only.

Hi traders,

I've ended my week last week with just over +700 pips from the TMS on the 4H charts. Smaller live practice charts at only 0.20 lots to demonstrate the sheer profit potential of using the basic and original TMS concept.

Remember TDI crosses and bounces are always sitting in between 12-2pm/4-6pm angles.

Once you've mastered the TDI crossover entries be sure to practice TDI bounce trades as well guys as there's always pips in those trades. Just look at those trades like the bonus stage in Street Fighter or Mario. You go in there, you beat the shit out of the market (or take your coins) and you're off to the next trade.

Remember...

TDI "BOUNCE"
or
TDI "CROSSOVER"

Thursday London/New York session two TDI crossover trades EURCAD +50 pips and GBPCAD +112 pips
Friday London/New York session two TDI bounce trades GBPNZD +51 PIPS and GBPAUD +119 pips

I hope you caught those trades as well last week.

I would just want to share my best trades for this week on D1 and H1 charts. Gained 195 pips on D1 chart and 55 pips on H1 chart. I have separated 2 demo accounts for D1 and H1.

thanks to you Dimi. I do not want to make things more complicated. PRACTICE is what we really need. I know I'd still stumble, there will still be mistakes, but the key here is to train our eyes with the TMS SETUPS and proper money management. There will be more winning trades than losing. you did not run your profits with this nice ME/ME trade.
there is breakout and you closed during the breakout candle and did not add position.
did you see the breakout potential ahead?

you did the PLAN and the BUILD correctly, but you did not let profit RUN....

your two screencast drawings for buy and sell illustration is dangerous and not correct for trend trading.
the concept is to buy/sell in the direction of the dominant trend, build positions during the retracement, let profit run when the market is back into the dominant trend.

most traders try to do the opposite trying to pick tops when they want to sell and pick bottom when they want to buy.
we must never try to pick tops and bottoms in all market types.
