Maybe you are all too color blind to trade; you are always looking for color change when you should in fact....

Just trade 1 color with the trend, think about it, you might make some pips for a change

Hi Erebus, if you think you found new strategy, pls, open your own thread. If you want to improve redgreen strategy, stay here, but with potential changes original strategy and no absolutely different system. Your system is trend system, redgreen isn't.
I think results of Dimdel's trades are too good to mix it with another different ideas.
All we need at this moment is improve redgreen EA, make a good BT and after that we can add some additional filters. It's the fastest way.

I am sure it should be in history but:

1. You have to wait for new candle color (H4 or D1, TF it's up to you)
2. If it happen then you place buy stop order (if candle is blue) or sell stop (if candle is red) few pips above/bellow that candle
3. You have to draw FIBO from that signal candle with levels 0%,100%,180% and 300%
4. SL is 0%, TP is 300%, BE is 180%
5. If next candle after signal candle doesn't hit your sell/buy stop order you have to cancle this order and wait for new signal candle

Is't clear or not?

Also, as a signal filter rule big candles are not to be traded. For me, 'big' is something that has range greater then ATR(30) value. So once you see those, skip it and wait for the next color change. Someone mentioned in the thread that if next candle, after the signal candle, is inside candle then you can apply same rules to inside candle and set the orders.

Yes, perfect answer. Size of signal candle or filtering big candles is up to you. There isn't any strict rule. Everybody can do it as he wants. Pips, ATR, just eye ;-)

Nice charts but one more point can be added.

Once you understand the entries and the levels then there are the following to be considered:

1. implementing Buy_Limit order and
2. implementing Sell_Limit order

Which is usually from the 23.6 Fib (or close to that ratio) which allows for the times when price pulls away from being triggered in the direction of the signal candle and entry is potentially gained on a pullback to the 23.6 Fib.

If price keeps pulling back then the stop is relatively small (Dimdel has mentioned this before) but if the trade hits TP then of course the result is much greater due to a far higher number of pips (just compare break of signal candle +2-5 pips to the limit order).

It is a very simple trading method once you understand it ... nothing tricky here!

Mastermind do you do that for every signal candle ( put stop order on break of the candle and limit order on 23% fib ) or there is a rule when you apply this approach?

I understand that this approach will raise RR ratio significantly just have to test and see if it's worth it since drastic drop in win % will follow as well ( just glanced at charts a bit ) since many skipped signal candles ( due to not triggering stop order ) are turned to loss by adding this approach.

You are right, this feature Dimdel added later but I don't trade it. But it doesn't mean it's bad. Just it needs more time to manage of your active trades and I have no time.;-) Maybe using EA can resolve this..
