9. won't it be a 'BE'? the price is touching level 180% (if you're using level 180% as BE point) first before going up if I remember

thanks for the respond. I'm in the learning process so that is why I wanted to see difference between yours and mine entries. Can you write down my entries that you disagree with and the reason why?

Thanks for pointing that out, actually I was ( wrongly ) using 200% as BE point.

Why do you try and make it so hard to make profit? There are many pairs which are moving many pips daily.

Just apply a simple trend filter and take only trades in that direction; only a suggestion

open a book
if the page number is Even Number you buy
if is odd number you sell

no stress, no searching for trend/range,

Thanks for the suggestion Erebus, currently I'm trying to replicate dimdel's 'system' before trying to tweak anything.

I somethimes read this thread,and all time had this idea in my mind about take trades only by trend

If you mean that you find a trend by moving average, or something like this, it's not helpful for redgreen. This strategy is more about momentum than about trend. Some trades are counter trend, some as trend continuation. Every trend filter change this strategy to unusable. You can make a paperbacktest and you will see that it's not better with any trend filter. Or I didn't find any reliable.

was ....so difficult? so clever ? to think a MA as filter?
so we have 2 cases
1) all the friend here are stupid ( because noone THOUGHT to put a MA in to the chart? )
or
2) we use it and is very bad

what have greater probability after 9 months searching?

Hi Dimdel i feel market confuse if last candle close green we add another Buy stop? Or put of the first and add buy order on the last candle.....i think that we could put some rules about a series of inboard candle or a minimum range filter ( the candle > 20 pip). What do you think?

I think you are wrong with rules. Your first buy stop you have to delete if next candle (red in this example) didn't hit buy stop level. And it didn't. In this example you have to be only in one active short trade and place a buy stop after last green canlde close. If it will close green.

Hello, I would like to try out this system, but I am not understanding the rules. I looked for them, but could someone state them very clearly in 'noobie' language? Thank you in advance. By the way is this a hedging strategy, because we are not allowed to hedge in USA where I live.
