Non-gap Renko Chart Creator EA

Interesting idea with the reverse brick MathTrader7 !

Started to test the EA and unfortunately have some issue with three digits pairs, eg. EURJPY or USDJPY, instead brick size 100 pips, I am getting 1 pip brick size (looks actually like 10 pips brick size).

One more thing if I want to look at EURUSD 100 pips and 200 pips charts, for some reason I cannot run second EA with different brick size and different offline chart no. Second EA just removes itself on first incoming tick. Is that wheat EA should do at this point?

I double checked the EA on USDJPY and EURJPY, it creates 10 pips Renko charts with no problem.

I also opened a EURUSD, M1 chart and attached the Renko Creator EA with settings Renko Brick Size (points) = 100 and Renko Chart Time Frame (minutes) = 2 and another EURUSD, M1 chart and attached the Renko Creator EA with settings Renko Brick Size (points) = 200 and Renko Chart Time Frame (minutes) = 3. It works perfectly fine.

So, I couldn't figure out what would be wrong with your setup.

i have same issue with fxcm for EJ, UJ it creates 1pip brick while others 10pips bricks

Mmmm... I will download FXCM MT4 platform and try to replicate the problem.
All my tests are done with IC Markets.

I just checked the situation with FXCM MT4 platform. Everything works perfectly fine.

I have no idea either. It works fine on other pairs but only jpy pairs. Screenshot attached

What happens if you add a zero to your brick size?

Checked again with another PC and probably this time I downloaded Version 1.42 (the one where I cannot select multiple pairs on same EA) and best thing is that it workes with first trial.

No problem running on three digit pair USDJPY and no problem running sevel EA with different birck size for same currency.

Will test it out..thank you for this EA MathTrader7!

I tried multi-renko chart, EURUSD,GBPUSD,AUDUSD,USDJPY. e-usd, g-usd, a-usd work ok. But, usd-jpy seem got problem, too many bars come out.

Thanks for reporting your observation. Please note that the multi-symbol version is experimental. I'm fixing the bugs. I'll release a new version which will be hopefully working just as good as the single symbol version.

Usd-jpy work now.

Another problem, when start EA, then, work. If re-run EA, then, offline chart become has only one bar. EA has to be removed.

If you put fileclose previous M2 offline chart firstly. then, fileopen.

Thanks for reporting your observation. I will work on this issue and release a new version. As a workaround, just remove and reattach the EA.

Hi MathTrader, this is a great EA and really helps to de-clutter the setup. The JPY charts are now correct for me also (vanilla install of MT4, Broker FxPro). I noticed one small typo when the EA is starting up: Looks like it says "Ceating history for xxxyyy". Should this be "Creating ..." (missing an r).
