With all honesty though.
Balance represents the net amount available in your account AFTER trade closure
Equity represents the floating amount consisting of the account balance + profit/loss of ONGOING trades
The Highest sum provided in myfxbook represents the peak of equity (with ongoing trades).

True. I was also confused.
I know what balance is, I know what equity is. But seeing the screenshot, made me think that "Highest" refers to "Highest equity". Anyway, the placement is a bit confusing.
"Balance"
"Equity"
"Highest"

Displaying in that order made people think that Highest = highest equity.
This is the psychological effect.

OK... anyways...
let us stick to the plan. Trailling profit is already in my list. So, it may take time, but it is on the list. Don't worry.
I see the potential, but there's potential issue as well. I need to study the effect first and how to kill the issue first.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

To the one who wonder on how martingale works on grid, I found 1 thread that is more likely martingale grid.

The thread starter is selling it, but he was commented by other member saying there's no proof of good trade that last more than 2 months.
It is a good result, but then it was stalled many times. I don't know what is the issue with this guy's EA, and don't know how he coded it, so, I can't comment much on it.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

So, I think the issue can be resolved by implementing martingale. Let me again think of is there any other issues.

Hi Radityo,
I am using v1.7 version and now getting error in expert log as follows and not taking trades:
2015.11.30 22:36:23.022 RdzGridTraps EURUSD,H1: incorrect start position 0 for ArraySort function
Please advise resolution of the error.

Hi Radityo, could you explain why today your system has a first winning cycle @ 0.5% gain, if your profit target is 1.5% ?

Why martingale? Would that not increase the DDs and the risks? As it is I feel we are good, its just a matter of fine tuning it to scrape more profits rather than letting it go Any reason as to why you gave martingale some thought in the context of this EA?

The target is not always 1.5%. Why?
Because the settings says so. If I select Target Based OR Middle Point, then it depends on which one reached first. If reaches Middle Point (which is usually less than Target Based) then it will be less than the target which is 1.5%.

Unless I select "Target Based", then the profit (approx.) will always be 1.5%.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

I remember someone asked for martingale and dynamic grid step.

In the standard settings I seem the Close Type variable is settled to 5, so is "Target Based OR Min Profit Open Orders".

I seem you're using the option 3, is it correct?
