That is totally fine, and none of my concern. Anyway I don't want EA to sleep on real run.

But my question keeps unanswered.

As my understanding, he want a fast backtesting.

But in the reality, sleep even a few second after close all orders may bring some nice thing when price change fast.

I am not a coder but I checked all other EA source code what I can find. They all put slippage for OrderClose and OrderSend.
You may get very good result without slippage in backtesting. But in reality, ...

Believe me, I have observed that as well.

"Technically" you are right. I can put slippage as variable, infact, your suggestion is what I was doing first time when building this EA (v0.1). But ultimately, it depends on the broker and this thing will be no use at all. What I have experienced with slippage, if you put slippage and your broker is not allowing to put slippage, no matter how many numbers you put, it doesn't affect anything. Apologies for borrowing your words, that's what I observed from the reality.

You put 50, 100, or even 1000, if your broker doesn't allow you, and the time of the order executes and slippage occurs, the behaviour is exactly the same like putting 0 slippage.
So then finally, I've decided not to put slippage in OrderSend.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

ok thanks, that was my next question, if the EA is suitable for ECN. I am testing two demo account ICmarket and FxPro, standard account, EURUSD-EURGBP-EURCHF, I will post results if trend owner allows me.

I'm happy if someone come aboard....
Do make sure that you test on Demo first (you're good if you already make it as a habbit).

I'm really sure that there are still some room for improvement. Without feedbacks, I can't improve anything.

Anybody here using XM?

Just for information, if your account is MICRO in XM, if you place GTLIMITEURUSD2, it will be too hard for EA to close the orders.
Since it is MICRO, then the lotsize is also MICRO.

MICRO is different compared to CENTS (in many other brokers). Below is the comparison:
1 lot in MICRO = 0.01 lot in CENTS
1 lot in CENTS = 1 lot in STANDARD, BUT your currency notation in CENTS is cent. So, $10 in STANDARD = $1000 in CENTS.

Hence, the GTLIMITEURUSD2 Lot settings must be multiplied by 100.
If you see Initial Lots Multiplier is 0.00007, you must change it to 0.007. Same thing does for Initial Lots.
But DO NOT change the Target Profit or Target Profit Multiplier.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

OK. ECN, I have tested, but it was long time ago.
Yes, the commissions is killing the profit, and at least you need "Close Order After X Points" (v1.7) a.k.a "Middle Point Activation (Order Count)" (v1.8).
Or, better if you set the close type to "Target Based (Standard)" instead of "Target Based OR Middle Point".

It will help me also to observe ECN.... thanks anyway.
I don't have space anymore on my VPS, will try sometime to check ECN account.

so on a standard account i don t need to use "Close Order After X Points", correct? at the moment it is set to 3 on the 3 pairs and on the 2 broker. btw what sort of data you need to improve the system? I will create a public myfxbook, in order for everyone to monitor progress.

That's my suggestion.
That's why I want you to help me to observe, ECN + Close Type: Target Based (Standard). Of course on demo. If you don't mind, share to us your myfxbook link.

Ok, yes i do run demo both brokers, also I am running v1.7, because it is the one I could download from the site, unless you want to pass me v1.8.
I will use the 3 set file, that you posted sometime ago (unless you have new onces) and I will change Close Order After X Points to 3

Hi Radityo, last Friday I had a strange cycle in which the size of all but one orders was 0.17, but for a pending order the size was 1.00.

What could be the reason? Thank you!

the issue with demos is that you can test withdrawal mgt... as you cant withdraw lol... but i still believe that we have all understood that the only issue left is of the "grid distance" mgt + the withdrawal mgt in order to make it work as better as possible...

and with the equity option right now the money mgt is even more "perfected"....

we have ALL passed the stage of understanding on how this EA works...and its time to improve on the way we will work it ;-)
