Avoid when there's huge impact news. Most common high impact news is like NFP, and any new interest rate announcement is actually a dangerous one.
Since NFP is a monthly impact and it happening always on Friday, let's put that out of scope since my setting is always avoiding trade on Friday.

By the way, I saw your Trade Explorer. It does seems disturbing me, as it was so many loss trade was happened. Mine for today, only open 8 orders.
Did you at any point of time back changed any of your grid step, start time?
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

Bro, absolute gain vs gain,
you can't change that. Both are totally SAME.

Why?
Gain is calculating only first deposit and the profit since start till now.
While Absolute Gain, is the same as absolute gain, just that it also take the second, third, ... deposits into their calculation.

So both are totally same.

Increase absolute gain? sure you can do that. but also increase your risk, like what I did for GTLIMIT3 and GTLIMIT4, blew the account already. Luckily it was only a demo.

This case is common.

Hmmm... did you set your local time correctly? --> assuming you are putting your EA in VPS, or any incorrect datetime in PC.
How to check this, check your timezone set on your PC/VPS, and check the datetime.
Compare with http://www.worldtimeserver.com/

If it set correctly, it should be ACTIVE.

That is why I set to start at 01:00. Probably the best would be 02:00 actually. So, in case we missed to stop trade, and there's huge impact news came, it will still recover.

In every big huge trending, the price movement eventually will be exhausted, leading to a small retracement (in which we will take the profit).

Today's trading (last circle), isn't that bad compared to the first 2. The first 2 circles was actually trying to suck my money, but you know what... , that was the time when I never do a stop trade when huge news coming in....

Hi Radityo, I getting understand about your EA. Actually your setting is avoid trading on Saturday instead of Friday (singapore time).

Hi Radityo, in this case, the result is difficult to make comparison/measure especially when there is 2nd, 3rd ... deposits, right? Since gain is total gain/first deposit.. And Abs gain is total gain/total deposit.. The "gain" is over perform and the abs gain is under perform.

Tell me about it...
I just don't want to complain about how it calculates. I think this numbers based on the statistical calculation standards. myfxbook is also a professional company, I suppose they don't come with "random" way of calculating profit, they do have standards.

Yes, Saturday morning 00:00:00. I assume this is Friday session, because in Europe / US is still Friday.

Easy answer yes I was using mrdj's settings with limit orders as it seems to work my day time NZ time as that is when US UK is closed , but got burnt over night.

I mean, your decision to use demo first. That's what I was trying to say everytime to anyone using this EA.

It's not just good, but you need to get to know the strategy first. Then live testing comes after with smaller amount (I'm still at this stage), then lastly with the larger amount on live.

It does seems painful, waiting and waiting, but overtime I believe it will be worth the wait.

Running your GTLIMIT1000REBOOT, GTLIMITEURCHF, GTLIMITEURGBP and GTLIMITEURUSD2 on the EURUSD pair and it has been a good ride so far. Ran it through Draghi's session last night and came out in profit!

Loving the consistency I am seeing in the demo accounts with the DD always being less than 10%. You have got something special here!

Wow, your GTLIMITEURUSD3 have very huge drawdown -88% today. Your GTLIMITEURUSD2 profit is 1.5%, then GTLIMITEURUSD3 must have 7 times than it. but it's different.. positive and negative

Normally I'll do this when I start MT4.
Tools > Options, then...

When attaching chart, make sure the below is selected.

Other than that, it can be your broker is not allowing trade (it shouldn't be the case), or you maybe login with your investor password.

I have a good feeling that it would pass the 1 year milestone with a breeze

Yup.. running EURCHF and EURGBP but heres the hitch.. am running them on the EURUSD pair I accidently loaded them into the EURUSD pair initially and had not bothered to look but looking at the orders recently made me realize the mistake I had made. They are performing ok nevertheless so I am continuing with those set files on the EURUSD pair
