Future market? Is this a broker name?
Or is this an asset classification, like future, commodities, forex?

Moreover, can you elaborate:
- how to reproduce the issue (in detail, like what you have clicked, is the MT4 closed unexpectedly, etc)?
- what pair do you choose?
- once the EA running, did you do one of these: closing MT4 then open again, changing the timeframe in a while, or closing the chart then attach the EA and run again?
- can you provide me the Journal tab log when it happened?
- can you provide me the Experts tab log when it happened?

I wonder how this issue still exist...

Future market is for example: SP500 Mini-Future CME.ES. DAX Future EUREX.FDX, or Spanish Future MEFF.MFXI

Forex is very difficult for me.

You try to see on the set file provided. Go to the first thread, see there is link to the set files.
I never remember how big is the lot size, since it is dynamic to the balance you have.

I think it was around 0.00007 of your balance.

Bro radityo,

Since Sunday, I set the EA (GTLIMITEURUSD2 (Live), and I find out that the EA isn't run on Monday (our time), I set the VPS GMT+8. and just run today.gained some pips.
I check on your Trade Explorer seems the same too, no trades on yesterday?

if i remember correctly yesterday i saw the status on my EA is= "in time range, inactive".

what do you think?

That's correct, based on the setting.
I was configured the settings not to run on Friday session (Saturday morning our time), and Sunday session (Monday morning our time).
Did you remember I've added new feature which limits the trading day in a week?

Hi Radityo,


As i use limit order, how if when first run we create upside and downside pending order.

As soon as 1 limit order hit either buy or sell limit, the other opposite pending order operation deleted. because when using limit order, and say buy limit operation on going , there is no use to create pending order for sell limit as it will close when hit starting point line ( I use close method to target or right in start point)

As max PO will be limited by the broker, like 200 or 100 PO creation.

Yes, I remember bro.
Just thought you set it to run from 5days full. Monday-Friday and stopped when market close on Saturday, Sunday (our time).
So you configured it to run 4days a week which is Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri (our time) right?

and btw for today, mine got 0.3% and yours 0.7% this morning.
Mine trades 0.1 lots on cent account (from 10$) while yours 0.07 lots (I guess maybe around 15$ deposit).
I should be got bigger gain but well... it seems your broker/VPS is better hahaha

different broker, means can be different leverage, spreads, all the account type terms, all will take into account.

On my GTLIMITEURUSD2, there's setting to close on starting point line IF the number of open order is equal or more than 2. So in this case, it will pass the starting point first if the open order is only 1. Once reaches the 2nd order, then it will allow to close on starting point line or target based.

Edit: I mean, why would you need to delete?
What if the user selects not to use start point closure when they have already started the EA?
Performance again, bro. If we maintain too many logics.

Hi radityo,

I think you wrong interpret what i mean. What you describe is i understand. if 1 order limit created, if back to starting point it will close it imidiately, around 1 pips profit ( Target profit will not reached).

What i mean better explain with a case :

1. Create PO let say 10 upper and below with fix creation.
2. If price move up, it hit the sell limit.
3. When 1 sell limit hit, EA will close all PO with buy limit. Sell limit will stay there waiting to get hit.. Because the buy limit PO will not be touched as when reach starting point it will close all order.

The same with dynamic creation of PO.
We no need to create the buy limit PO if the currrent one already sell limit operation and waiting to hit target or starting point.

Hope you understand my scenario. So let say i want to run it on multiple pairs without filling the PO limitation on broker side.

I think its better with ECN broker as the spread can be as low as 0.2 pips on EU pairs.

let say each got profit only 1.2 pips , we can have 1 pips profit.

but in the end we still profit

I totally understand what you meant. But your scenario is only catering for one.
What if some other scenario I want to cater for non-starting-point scenario? What if let say, one time you already started with starting-point scenario, then with the current created order you want to use no-starting-point scenario, or vice versa?

My point is, all of this "small" logic requires a lot of effort, plus not performance-friendly, and potentially will pop-up another new bug. When you introduce this scenario, a lot of thing I have to do. Let us say, you currently running the order with starting-point scenario, once the first either buy or sell hit, then the opposite orders will be deleted, am I right? Once it got deleted, then you suddenly changed your mind to use no-starting-point. All opposite orders already deleted, then the EA need to re-fill up the deleted orders again. OK, let us assume EA re-filled the deleted orders again. Then say, 1 buy limit hit, then it moves to hit sell limit. Then you changed again to use starting-point again. At this point, what should I delete? Say delete some other orders.
Hehehehe... all of this scenarios you need to think, bro. A lot of efforts and combinations. The underlined sentences above are the efforts, and not "small".

No offense bro, I distribute this EA as free version, I don't have much time to do this EA, so I want to keep as minimum effort as possible. And imagine, that is only catering for 1 scenario.

That is how I see.

I understand bro, it will take effort to put more logic. More code more bugs as we developers know .. Take your time to decide which feature will be a priority.

And my scenario is will be the same. i use limit order, let it run. will not change mind until it finish its first cycle. But i think this will got problem if in the middle of the cycle we change the setup while the EA still running. and a lot of effort.

And this only for limit order scenario, imagine if others have different scenarion for stop order , more job bro..hahaha..

Hi Radityo Ardi

In my USDCAD forward demo i set the Weekly Start Day : Monday, Weekly Start Time : 08:00:00 (Broker Time). I expect that the EA will not run before 08:00:00 on every Monday. But after i login to my VPS yesterday (Monday around 02:00:00 broker time), i saw that the EA already run and create pending orders. So what is probably wrong? Is it my sets?
