i think the trick (for stop orders) is place a stop loss. But how long i dont know yet.

Nice to have you back here Radityo.
My live test it's running from 2 months today. Up almost 80% with daily avg 1-2%.
I use it with fast cycle only during the London Session and I don't trade the NFP day.
It's looks good, we'll se in the long run...

Try to make your lot size or lot size multiplier bigger. It seems that if the value fall below 0.00, it doesn't take the default 0.01 lot size.

You are using ActiveTrades and account is EUR. Quite interesting since total profit is > 15 EUR but my EA calculates as -2.6 EUR....
Let me check for that.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

currently testing the v1.7 live.

i had to manually start each cycle. was it intended that way, or is there settings for it to auto restart each cycle?

welcome back! well i'm glad one of your live test is alive, congrats on GTLIMITEURUSD2 (Live) !
Let's hope it can survive for long and remain safe....slow gain is fine (well, it isn't that slow tho!! )

Btw, is that still using the original set.files you attached before?

Go to Tools > Global Variables. If you see any Global Variables, delete it all. then you start your EA once again.
I guess this is due to the Stop Next Cycle is being set in Global Variables. But then in your "Stop Next Cycle" button it should be pressed as well, since the state is enabled.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

Still remains the same, the GTLIMITEURUSD2.
I think I'm now more focusing on "manual intervention" due to unpredictable movement. This unpredictable movement causing "heart-attack"-ish position... like below... (see the red circle)

I'm just trying to see the corelation between mid to high impact events (like NFP, or anything else) whether this could really impact on it.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

radityo.ardi do u only have your EA on 5 hours/day?

GTLIMITEURUSD2 is only 5 hours a day, starting from Tuesday 00:00 SGT - Saturday 00:00 SGT. So, it will not open trade from Saturday morning until Monday evening 23:59 SGT

this stop next cycle disable all other EA testing order submit. Is this behaviour is expected.

and i want make it clear, you run limit order 5 hours only, and on active market time run stop order. Is it what you do?

i try using your default eurusd2 set forward testing.

ok...i think it work...

not only that it work for 1 of my mt4, it works for another mt4 for different broker though this one i did not remove the global variables...

that is threshold line to close all orders. calculated from the outer grid order, about X points. X is the number you get from "Close Threshold".
Now, when the current price is reaching that line, it will force close all orders.

this feature was requested by someone...

if all of your other GridTraps EA are using the same unique or magic number, then it will have this behaviour (one of them).

hi radityo,

somehow it went weird now, after attach v1.7 to another mt4, somehow the autocontinue trade stops.

i tried delete the GLobal options - dont seem working now.

The first button should it be "Continue" or "Stop Next Cycle".
If i press "Continue" it will switch to "Stop Next Cycle" - does it mean is now on auto continue trade?
If i press "Stop Next Cycle" it will switch to "Continue" - does it mean now is on manual restart?

Sometimes i notice "Stop Next Cycle" is pressed down, sometimes is "Stop Next Cycle" not pressed down - not sure if its any different, or there's only 2 setting, "Continue" or "Stop Next Cycle"

Hi Radityo Ardi, Glad to see you back.

I have an issue with v 1.7 on back testing. I back tested from jan to sep 2015. On many days from that period of time the EA did not started. Sometime once a week, sometime twice. I haven't check on my forward testing if the EA have the same issue bcs i run multiple pairs on one account. I have the screen shot below
