I'm buying in this support zone particularly on a touch of 1.53 or close to that number will be waiting for entry. This is based of fundamentally what I see as a situation in which the Fed can't and won't raise rates for fear of US stock market collapse and the global turmoil in the markets. Technically speaking 1.53 is a strong support/resistance zone looking for a bounce here and eventual continuation up for GBP into the 1.58-1.60 region.

Took long on GU at 1.5344 and still riding it out...H4 candles stacking up nicely....5415-20 near term?
Lets see what we can get...D1 200 sma and a double bottom on D1 chart seems like good reasons for some long?

Having breached 1.5500 support level, ascending trend-channel support on D1 during its Wednesday's decline, the GBPUSD kept forming the short-term descending trend-channel. However, the pair currently tests the channel resistance and break of 1.5400, together with the good reading from UK Manufacturing PMI, could fuel the pair towards 1.5520 with 1.5450 being intermediate resistance. Alternatively, 1.5330-35 becomes an immediate support before the pair could test channel support, near 1.5280.
