I'm happy to wrap the last major change for v1.7. The new feature I've brought in is the Weekly Start and Weekly End. There are 4 additional parameters:

  1. Weekly Start Day
  2. Weekly Start Time
  3. Weekly Stop Day
  4. Weekly Stop Time

By default are set from Sunday 00:00:00 to Sunday 01:00:00, which I hope literally allow all times to trade. The default settings will not interfere with your current setting.

Now if you've configured EA to start Daily running from 01:00:00 to 10:00:00, and you would like to avoid Friday night and early Monday trading, you'll just need to set these:

  1. Weekly Start Day: Monday
  2. Weekly Start Time: 23:00:00
  3. Weekly Stop Day: Friday
  4. Weekly Stop Time: 11:00:00

So, by setting this, EA will logically find what are the allowed time to start trading. The result of those settings will allow EA to trade Starting on Tuesday morning 01:00:00 to Tuesday morning 10:00:00 and recurring everyday at the same time from 01:00:00 to 10:00:00. It will trade until Friday morning 10:00:00 will be considered as the last time for EA to open trades.

Note: time is always in 24H format.

Now, let's take a look another sample with the initial setup as above.

  1. Weekly Start Day: Tuesday
  2. Weekly Start Time: 23:00:00
  3. Weekly Stop Day: Wednesday
  4. Weekly Stop Time: 11:00:00

​So, by setting this, EA will logically start trading ONLY on Wednesday morning 01:00:00 to Wednesday morning 10:00:00.


At last, please help me to test this out on DEMO or backtest it first and see any other issue after my change.
If until end of this week I don't see any issues arise (not only on this feature but all of them related to v1.7), I will release it as new version. And of course I will update my EA accordingly to run on that time.

That is for v1.7, version before the current v1.7.

If you faced any issues, try to dig into the set files and see the differences between v1.6 set file and my v1.7 set file. You can use WinMerge to see the differences. Whatever settings that is not exist, remove it. (see pic below for example only).

First of all, I have asked you guys to test on demo first, not on Live.

Second, your screenshot is not a complete screenshot. I need not only the setting dialog, but also the dashboard (text written on charts). Judging by the screenshot you have, you gave a screenshot only 1 of your order which shows -2.2 loss, and total loss also in minus. Your TP set to Dynamic with multiplier of 0.00004, and you don't have any stop loss set.
So at this point, I can only tell that EA is working fine. As your TP is a positive number and your trade is in floating loss.

If you really face this issue, I need the dashboard screenshot and setting dialog only to better understand the issue.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

My advice is not to use any new revision straight on LIVE account but wait until all the teething problems are resolved.
Personally I am sticking with V 1.4 and very happy with it. Stable and works with no issues.

01:00 to 09:59 is AM or PM? Or GMT format?

So if I understand correctly, with these new parameters, the EA will be able to start a new week and continue from where it has left last week? Because from my experience, if I had open trades and orders left from last week, at the beginning of a new week, the ea wouldn't make new ones, and you are stuck..

No. You have incorrect understanding.

You currently have Daily Start Time and Daily Stop Time which limits the EA to create a new cycle on a specific time range on a daily basis. This setting, will allow you to set your Weekly Day and Time limit, which will work the same like Daily Start Time and Daily Stop Time. So, Weekly Day and Time limit is an additional logic on top of Daily Start Time and Daily Stop Time. See the picture below.

We have Daily Start and Stop Time, this already there since day 1, and represented by red line box. Assuming that start time set to 01:00:00 and stop time set 10:00:00. So in a week timeline (blue line) we have 7 red boxes. Within this red box only, EA will be allowed to start new cycle. Outside of these times, EA will not be allowed to start new cycle, BUT, EA will still be allowed to run to close existing orders if it is reaching the target or stop loss, or any closure condition. Or EA will recreate another additional orders if it is configured.

Now, for Weekly Start Day, Weekly Start Time, Weekly Stop Day, Weekly Stop Time, it is represented in green box. Assuming it is set to Monday 00:00:00 to Thursday 11:00:00. So, with this setting, we are allowing EA to run only on the times where it intersects between Daily Start-Stop Time and Weekly Start-Stop Day and Time (the yellow boxes only).

And what's the condition for a new cycle? Definitely there's no pending or opened orders, all orders should've been closed before starting a new cycle, and it is between the time range allowed. The orders should've been closed either by reaching Target Profit, or other condition set from Close Type.

If your cycle was not closed during the weekend (still having opened orders), when you move into the new week (i.e. Sunday, Monday) it is not considered as new cycle. Recreation logic is also not considered as new cycle. So, when the time moves from Friday, Sat, Sun, then Monday, EA still consider as out of timerange, but bear in mind that recreation and order closure can happen anytime and it is not limited to timerange.

Only new cycle will be started inside the timerange.

Sorry, I didn't read your comments thoroughly. I was a bit sleepy and uneven..

This kind of "stuck" is more likely the recreation issue, am I right? This issue should be fixed in v1.7 now. Though you closed your EA with opened orders, and next week you started with new ones, it will recreate. Of course, I have some other issues that technically can't be fixed, since there is gaps of times when EA running. Please read my post at #1083.

i have some question, if we set from monday to friday for 24 hour nonstop, then at friday EA creating new cycle but not get profit as we set before until close market. My question is: Does EA will create new cycle in next open market (monday)? even last orders not get profit yet.

If you run on VPS 24H/7D, no, it will not. This is the expected behaviour even from v1.0 itself.

If you run on PC on Friday, then assuming you close the MT4 after market closed on Friday, then you open MT4 again in Monday morning and start the EA, previously this was a bug. But now, it is fixed, it will continue and not creating new cycle if there is existing matching order with correct unique number. But as I said, read #1083 for any problems that may arise which I couldn't fix (it is by design).

Technically, no limit.

But, the limit is in your hand, your broker, and your environment.
I mean, see the practical idea, you can handle even 1000 pairs on single account, and > 1000 orders. But ultimately, you'll need a good server (not just "simply" good, but totally the best). And your broker's may limit on how much open and pending orders you can have. And the last but not the least, you need a broker which has the lowest execution time.

Why you got this limitations?
Everytime EA got a new quotes, it will basically re-iterate through all orders and calculate the profit, loss, and all factors. So, if in 1 second EA receives 3x quote changes, then the logic will run 3x in that second.
