Great results HR, clear PA explanations here, thanks for that , I have been back-testing EU and use that to trade 5 pairs, and to me they all do the same over and over again

No offence but the thread was started in 2011 and it's now 2015 and has 1490 pages. That's quite a lot of reading. Not to mention it's over 59k posts in this thread.

Hi craig,

Since you want to trade the H4 chart like what is described in Post#1, you must have fully understood Post#647 and have forward tested in live market conditions.

I suggest you use the TDI Realtime version in Post#17,848 but you must know when to avoid trading the H4 big candles (APB#1) and also when there are small candles, always wait for the candle to close to confirm the TDI trade.

Hey, I did it. I read through every single one of Big E's posts. It took me 2 weeks but it was worth it in the end. Funnily enough, I found out some one actually compiled a PDF with all the posts to make it easier.

Hi HSN,

I know some traders trade H4 exactly the way it is described in Post#1 and made money. But then many other traders tried and have not succeeded. I don't think there is any one specific reason why these traders could not make it. The are a variety of different reasons why TMS traders fail. We all read that current market conditions are different when compare to the period back in 2008 to 2011. This cannot be the reason because as traders we must learn and be able to trade in all market conditions. We must know how to identify the market condition and define the market type we are in. Knowing the market type will help us decide on which systems will be best suited for that market type. Knowing Price Action is one way to read the market and determine the market type.

As for me I never use the template provided in this thread because I create my own trading chart template. I have been used to trading with the Fozzy-RSI which is created using the trading platform RSI standard indicator. The RSI indicator is realtime and updates on every price tick. The Traders Dynamic Index ( also renamed TDI Red Green) is a creation to simulate the Fozzy-RSI with some creativity to include the Volatility Bands. We all know that this TDI Red Green is repaints several candles when charts are refreshed so all the backtesting charts are actually re-painted. In realtime, the TDI Green is quite different and therefore when we trade with this TDI Red Green version we must know what eelfranz meant in his Post#647. In fact all his training charts posted are refreshed charts. I know that when he traded, he did not refresh his charts and he used the TDI Red Green exactly the way it shows and that is why he calls that "TDI trade". He is an aggressive trader when it comes to taking reversals using APB candle #1 and #2 for entries.
I am a conservative trader and therefore prefers to wait for the reversal to be confirmed and trade the continuation of the established trend of that moment. In an established trend, we should look at market pause (pullback, consolidation, ..) and trade the continuation ( breakout trading).

Great week ahead with 3 pairs at s/r levels. Keep it simple. PA + TDI is the only way to go.

Yes that is correct Ballistical, pretty tough week to grab some pips. I think Aug is always tricky month as most of the MM's are out until Sept. All the best next week and hope to see few home runs as you must be all charge up after vacation

Try Google "Fozzy RSI" or "Fozzy System" or "Fozzy Daily". You will find many trading forums which dicussess this maintenance free trading methodology which goes far back to 2004.

Hi TSS,

You are taking some excellent trades as well and I am learning PA from all seniors. I review phx62 pdf's each time I feel like confuse about something. And recently two senior members helped me with two of the important inquiries I have about PA etc. Where else you get this kind of unconditional support. Only requirement is our willingness to learn and search the information then put those pieces together, so we can review them every weekend etc. Repetition is the mother of all skills. WE just need to rinse and repeat the same process in back testing, forward testing until it become second nature and we start reading the PA on charts. By the way what other pairs are you trading? I just finished my first year with EA on live account and increased the value to four times of initial deposit. Now I will be testing EUR/USD on live account. Demo trading is too boring for me as no emotions involved. who wants to wake up at 3AM in the morning to trade paper money. I rather do lots of back testing over the weekends when Market is close and live trading when we are in action mode.

Inspiring as usual , we can learn a lot from Phx62, actually TMS traders specially new ones, need to dig deep in this thread to read seniors posts , I learnt a big deal from Phx62 , his style is not just possible but doable and HR is an example of the way he trades , EU almost moves the same way as EA , u gonna be fine doing what u do in EA , I trade EU-GU-GJ-EA-EJ and Gold , apply what TMS is all about on all of those pairs

Back-testing is as important as live trading, first one has to prove him self in back-testing, then in Demo and then jump to live, no need to risk real money when ones in doubt , u can do it prove it then trade it, for all TMS traders, TMS is a gold mine!

EURUSD Week 34 Big Picture Plan.

Definitely not the easiest pair to trade recently but with with ADR between 110 and 130 pips it should be good enough for intraday H1 and also M15 trading with smaller stops. We can trade both ways when day trading. Always have a Plan A and a Plan B.

We must pay attention to market reaction to the Greece bailout which got through the Greek parliament and also accepted by the eurozone finance ministers.
We do not know if the Euro will rally next week. The Weekly chart says that is technically possible with a bullish weekly candle close and TDI cross up above the MBL.
We are in sideways wide range market type.

What is more important is to know the TMS rules and when you do your visual back-testing by scrolling back the history chart, you check and confirm that you know the rules where your entry and exits point are. Know the time of day when you are available to trade and look at the charts and see if your trade setups occur during your trading hours. Once you have done enouygh back-testing and know the TMS rules, then you should start forward testing with a demo account in live market environment. Open a demo account of the the same size of what your live account would be in future, If you want to trade with $10,000 live account then make sure your demo account is also $10,000k. This is to ensure that you forward test money management strategy - risk calculation, position sizing, exit strategy, etc. works in live market.
