Thank you for your recent enquiry about Alpari (UK) Limited. As you may be aware, FSCS is a rescue fund, which deals with claims for compensation against UK Regulated Financial Services Providers where: • The firm is no longer trading, and • It is unable (or likely to be unable) to meet claims itself. This is usually because they do not have sufficient funds to meet claims. Alpari (UK) Limited entered the Special Administration Resolution regime on 19 January 2015. Richard Heis, Samantha Bewick and Mark Firmin of KPMG have been appointed Joint Special Administrators (JSAs). As explained in our website, www.fscs.org.uk, we are currently working with the JSAs to see if we can both work in a similar method of considering claims. I can confirm that we now have an agreed balance for your claim and that your account has been verified in line with money laundering regulation. You should therefore be on our next Alpari payment run, which we hope to make in the near future. If you have any further questions about the role of FSCS, please telephone us on +44 (0)20 7741 4100 or 0800 678 1100. Or e-mail us at e[email protected].

I got this email from FSCS days after I sent my question on FSCS website.
I am happy that I was on their next payment. But I am surprised that my account has been verified in line with money laundering regulation, which I never thought about. In fact, I am not quite sure what does "verified in line with money laundering regulation" mean...My English is not good enough.
