Most of the commentary/analysis I am reading suggests 5200 before 5500 ? what do they know lol ? anything can happen....I'm flat atm so have no bias.

Well, it's a fractal swing lo on 4hr at 5328 and looking on daily since 4556 low and up is deep pullbacks and a further move up so if that pattern repeats then it will be a 'bottom.' truth is, no one knows - only time will tell...1hr too has just printed a fractal swing low at that 50% of the move up from 5328 y/day low after the pullback to it and the rising 1hr t/line and former 1hr swing hi.

Never one to worry now that is a lie.

Going to have to say confidently that the low of yesterday in NYC was the start of a turnaround following the FOMC yesterday.

Do not have to offer reasons but thought to add in addition and why not indeed.

Wonder what other traders are thinking on this one too.

thanks for that , interesting view , i think there is a lack of opinion lately in this thread as most traders are on eurusd 47 here and 197 over there , just had rejection again 5398 , ??

Coincidence perhaps but I run a renko chart alongside this pair and it turned on 7/8ths of the Murrey Maths system (30 pips renko btw) so quite solid too.
However early wall st time anything can happen.

Wise move as there is rarely a turning point which is not tested especially when NYC opens its doors.
Shall hold this buy till next signal down ;-)

Difficult picture in this moment - mthly is ranging, weekly has made a high above it's last lower high, then a higher low so may be looking 'constructive.' Daily is arguably in a downtrend as is 4hr definitely and on 1hr we have see a higher high off that yesterday's low (all re fractal price swings) so depends on which t/f you are on...overall though 1hr plus the technical picture probably favours more dow2nside unless an event risk changes that...Intraday is certainly mixed atm, possibly turning bearish ?

1hr rising t/line and 50% of the move up from y/day low broken now...scenario intraday turns bearish...uk event risk due in 20mins.
