Nice run this Went in with two and taken one out, leaving this until midday in the hope the news pushes us further up.

Technical-wise after it broke 1.5430 should move further up until 1.5450. Lets see

Closed my long positions, now perhaps will try to enter small short position at 1.5470 area. :nerd:

I may be wrong but I think we have formed a short term top . we are heading back to 1.5170. this move looks pretty wild and lacks fundamentals. gbp following the euro pisses me off. if the euro reverses it will be a wild ride.

News today will be non-event with such violent moves already happened (I hope, still holding some NU longs). And I expect tomorrow nfp to be inline. Technicals are more into play this week. GU had no reason to go up nor down, it could have stayed all week at 1.5250-1.53 fundamentally, as per giveachanche above.

Hi all,

Been a while since I last posted but now back focussing upon Cable. Nice rejection at R2. No open positions atm but will be interesting to see if it is attacked again after news or continue lower. Opportunities both ways once it settles down.

From past experience with pivots, when GU or AU touch a pivot and reverse on it, they go back and break it like it doesn't exist. That's why I stopped using them.

Well that's a classic test/reject/retest/break with good opportunities to trade. Moving back for a retest now. I don't trade the rejection but might trade a break. Rgds,
