Why do you think this is not an option ? Because Greek is contributing so much to the EU and the EU could not afford this big loss ( GRexit ) ?

If eurusd still doesn't react after us opening. Scalp between 0870 and 0930 during us close and Asian open. Let's hope for a clear direction!

Because for many reasons as Greece is gate connecting the East to the West and for many more. You think after years of negotiations to built a European Union, now they will force Greece to exit? I dont believe so. If Greece exits the Euro it will eventually exit the Eurozone. Once that happens then Italy, Spain, and Uk, and many more to come. Therefore, the whole think will disappear. You think this is possible?

I'm no expert too. I know how it has been before the EU and I know how it is now. The EU are not the United States. The EU is very young and many people dislike it. I shared my opinion, we will see. The EU might do a lot that Greek will not exit. Not because of Greek, because of other nations following. GB, Italy, Spain for example.

Yes, it's a possible long term scenario ( for me ). The unthinkable happened already - for decades, you can find the first time poor people in those countries. I mean really poor people. This may sound strange for many people here but believe me, those people know why they are poor and they have never been before. And those people are not lazy. Not the best testament for the EU.

I have to disagree with you on this one, Verified. Countries like Italy, Greece and to a degree even Portugal and Ireland used to be extremely poor in the 60ies, 70ies and 80ies. Especially Italy was the poor house of Europe (I don't mean to insult). Have you forgotten the Lira and how it was worth nothing, how high their inflation was? Italy was the cheap vacation spot for the poorest Europeans for instance...
The Euro was a huge improvement to those countries. But it was not built to increase the living standard for all and achieve long-lasting peace in Europe. It was created for one reason only, which was to create a counter-force to the almighty US economy. This would have worked well with the highly efficient and productive northern countries. But they can not support all 19 in the long run.
Now I believe that the Eurozone will go a great length to avoid any exits and splitting but with the voter ship shifting to more national parties and the financial state of countries like even France I think the signs are all there. It will not happen today or tomorrow but in the next 20 years.
So in the end we are on the same page again, Verified! :-)
