I understand the principle of trend changes in the way you explained it. Are you suggesting to use divergence only in combination with other indicators (such as trendlines)? Sounds logical, but doesn't seem to work for me, or probably I'm just looking at the wrong things. It's a good thing we can come here to check out other people's analyses to verify (or not) our own setups. It helps my trading tremendously - thanks for that, btw.

I trade follow the bigger trend.
If against the trend, small lot only, for scalp only (still learning, not good scalper).
Despite all the knowledge and skill about TA, Fundamental, etc good mm is a must.
So far I know no one that survives without good mm.

Well trend line did broke on close of last week accordng to Bones but him like other seasoned chartist have a flaw... Not enough fundies. I remember me posting a post counterarguing that yes the trendline maybe temporarily broken on low liquidity conditions in NFP last friday... But its prone to false breakout as we see now...
Besides last week's candle had a lower high and lower low despite a higher close...

These are the experimental mofus that were working perfectly until the FOMC f-u candle. Things appear to be back into alignment.

not suggesting anything except one should know cause, or at least try too. and if your putting money on something that's not working, stop. most people can look at a pair stuck at a level or the candles shrink w/o a indicator. or one's post " change in trend" , u can figure out if he is knowledgeable or not if simple things are missed.

lol some people are active only when the euro is falling and then start finding flaws in charts of seasoned traders. bones has made good calls time and again and will not question his wisdom.

Something completely different (source, Broker news feed):

Current Greek government has stepped up its claims over WWII reparations from Germany. Greece's deputy finance minister said that Germany owes it nearly €279 billion in reparations for the Nazi occupation during 1940s.

  1. Germany in 1960 has settled Greek claims with 115 million Deutschemark, which was allegedly forced upon Greece by other world powers and Germany. Greece has always considered the amount to be unfair.
  2. This is not the first time of such claim. Greek governments and private citizens have pushed for war damages from Germany for decades. However this is the first time government has quoted an exact amount of claim.
  3. Mr. Tsiparas even gone further to set up a parliamentary committee last week that will look into Greece's claim and return of archeological treasure. Government has threaten to confiscate German properties in Greece, should the German fail to settle the claim.

German government has so far shrugged off such claims, however some of the lawmakers in Germany has urged the Government to settle the talks with Greece over reparations rather than just shrugging off the claim.

These moves have high potency to sour the relations between Germany and Greece and the outcome will guide on the balance of relations between two nations. Souring relations will put Greece closer to an exit.

Euro will remain under pressure, unless Greek situation abates. Euro is currently trading at 1.086 against dollar, down -0.72% today so far.

How is tera still holding? Servers still populated? I was checking forums here and there but it seems like drainage is on place. Lately it seems like 1 year tops for quallity population, after that it just all collapses from economy to population.

i have shorts. i have bear closes.. and i still wouldn't get too cocky about them. because we still could go to near 1.15 .. 0832 is part of it

That is the power of bias I guess. The reality is if you have a bias towards the short as fxtryant does, then why not hedge your losses to stop the bleeding, and release the hedge once you have "figured out" the "stop hunt" is over. Since most traders also believe in the stop hunt, then why don't they "hunt" with the market?

I am also long on EU. I have entered long 4 closed candles ago. Should the bid close inside the blue box, I will take the loss on the long, and enter for a scalp short to attack a new low.

A lot of servers merged, very populated now. only 5 servers. I enjoy it.

I quit a year back because it saps all my time....case in point time i would have been using watching the charts instead and not missing the obvious add-on to my shorts..
