The winter period has certainly slowed growth in the U.S but I do not see the green buck losing out significantly to the Aussie any time soon. The jobs numbers could decide the direction of the USD next week, but still I expect the USD to remain strong against other majors, including the Aussie, therefore, in my opinion it could be wise to open a counter position just in case, it might help reduce the loss..JUST my OPINION!

I saw that infinitus, long before I downloaded them. The candles are correct, the times aren't. I like everything to match. Doesnt effect anything but my anxiety

Also- I don't trade axitrader, they are my demo charting tool via mt4 Oanda is my broker.

Whew- ATR @ 1.0992.....I smell some account burning already

took a bit of risk off, left a good 1/4 on just in case we don't get our spikey spike

someone was asking how I'm positioned for tomorrow via pm- 100 pip drawdown would cost me 0.7% at this point (and would be above ATR)

Actually it should be OK, Last weekend we switched to summer time that's why they use GMT+3 now.

if you saw the pic I posted- it's not ok. or the same number. The server is not NY time but the cutoff is 17:00 EST

That's the way it should be. When NY close it means 17:00 or you called it 5 pm in states. So when NY 5 pm its 00:00 here in GMT+3 zone. In other words we start new day when NY close at 5 pm

I'm not sure how do stock exchanges affect the Forex market but all Western European exchanges, including those in London, Paris and Frankfurt, are closed Good Friday and April 6, the Monday after Easter.

Any advice on this?

London closed Good Friday as well as Easter Monday

surpised they didn;t bump NFP to the following Friday.
they did that a few months ago, not sure the reason, wasn't a holiday..
