Agree with you.By the way I knew someone in UK has been trading since very young (supervised by his father though), by the age of 17 he started to be able to make a call himself and to make a decent living from the trade.So age does not equal maturity in trading.

EURUSD
Possible AB=CD H4 at 1.1150, can't rule out testing of MPP but on a step by step basis this is what I am looking at.
Sell off today is natural response to .618 minor extension.
If price comes back down there is still possibility for Bfly Sell.

Europe going home and as expected after news both 1.092x and 1.088x tested and day was over rather quick after the opening range. Tracking 1.096x for the roll. Nothing see until then. Same levels, same trades, same all...

One incident over thousands of traders, "Supervised by his father", Not good enough for a general conclusion.

At the end of the day, you are responsible for yourself, More so, if you fail to do your part of the bargain in terms of due diligence, money management.

Hi there...

Daily == Generally referencing Daily Time Frame (TF) in some way. Daily Chart, Daily Pivot Point etc.
Monthly == Generally referencing Monthly Time Frame (TF) in some way. Monthly Chart, Monthly Pivot Point etc.
Roll/Rollover == The price at which the market closes a day, and begins the next. Most commonly referenced at New York City Close (5:00 pm EST)

Have a look at the amount of wicks we have had across 1.09161 on the 5m chart. As of right now EU is a long all the way to 1.09536 BEING THAT it has not been able to close under 1.09161.


Should the bid close under 1.09161 on the 5m then you close the buy for a loss, and enter a higher sell with a tp to 1.08633
5% a day keeps the 9 to 5 away.

IMO, you are looking at the whole FA issue from the wrong perspective. It's not the tools you use but how and why do you use them.

If tomorrow i give you access to the most advanced Hadron Collider (currently in Geneva ...dont ask random example so just google it... ) and tell you ok do something with it... You will end up doing the same as I and 99.99% of the people in the world: Fck all . Because we don't have a clue what to do with it. The same apply for trading, if you don't know wtf to check or analyse in FA, it will simple have NO VALUE that information ...however in the right hands and with the right context, its probably the most important factor when trading....

Let me put it in very simple words:

  1. Fundamentals serve as a COMPASS for direction.

Like any compass it just mark the path to the north. It doesn't suppose to override everything and become an exact science defining the price of an underlying to the pipette in every single nano second in time.

  1. Technicals serve as a GPS with the POI (points of interest) in that path

Regardless if you use this or that, we use technical to map our path and give us a framework for trading. You can use whatever you like as long as it has some statistical significance.

  1. Markets participants reacting to particular events in and underlying will set the actual start and end of the main flows (waves or whatever you want to call it) in any underlying.

​This is where fundamentals and technicals crossover. When the perceived future value of an underlying changes (a new NORTH) given a particular set of fundamentals traders/investors, etc will react using technicals tools to map the new path ...etc

In simple words, the tools you use are pretty much irrelevant as long as you have a clear north and a clear map to squeeze as many crumbs in between as possible.

And the reason you come across swap charges when you search, is that if you hold an open position through the Daily Roll...you will incur Swap charges. Depending on the interest rates of the instruments you are holding, and the direction you are holding them...you will either be charged negative, or credited positive Swap fees.
