i copied the files you uploaded for Kopratasav1.02.zip to test this

i opened the EA in MT but i just see what i show in the image,


Do you know what can be happening?

Of course you will get the source codes, there is no magic and there are no secret formulas inside.
Kopratasa EA shows you just a snapshot view of the market when you maybe at sleep.
BDN EA is just a viewing tool, also no secrets there.

They both are NO Expert Traders but Expert Advisors, you have to do the trading.
The only reason that i traded the by kopratase EA advised baskets without any background checking is to see if they didn't loose big time.
If they lost all the time it is useless to go any further with the project but if they breakeven or even win a little it could act as a basis for your trading.

The mql4 codes will be available only when the project is at an end stage.
No need to look at half baked, spaghetti like coding.

  1. My approach is very simple, I'm a old school investor. I do not use indicators, EA or any fancy tools to pick directions to mange my positions.
  2. CORE 7 - SPLIT 4/3 that is all I use to determine direction of the CORE before I move to cherry pick my Core/Crosses.

  5. Timing the market is very important, since most of the traders are so driven by lagging indicators and second hand information, they lack knowledge what drives the currency rates. ( Specially Fundamentals )
  6. Since my approach is straight forward and simple, many of you think I am holding back, Why? Because I am not sharing any spreadsheets or indicators which will visually appeal many of the traders.
  7. Remember unless until you put together your own method of trading, you basically depending on others to make your trading decisions.
  8. Traders are jumping in and out of "so called trading system" ( TRADING IS A METHOD ) on hopes to make it big, sorry to burst your bubble not going to happen unless you change your mind set and start looking for answers on the charts which has most current and dynamic info under your nose rather then feeding second hand information to some indicator , spreadsheet or what ever to look for answers.

I've got 2 questions to your statement above:
Firstly, how do you factor in fundamentals? If there's big news about CAD following the creating the basket, will you simple exclude CAD from both baskets or do you have other routine about this situation? How about when it's news about USD?

I agree that the timing of the market is important, which leads me to my next question: when do you do these core crosses/splits. I mean at what time during the day?
From what I'm guessing you hold a trade for about 24 hours, with proper MM and some statistics about DR this isn't very hard to manage.
So let's say your baskets met their TP during the following 24 hours, when do you think is the best time of day to plan your next basket? After NY close? Before LO open? Or do you simple look at high enough TFs that it really doesn't matter? And in that case, do you plan on holding the trade for more than 24 hours? Like looking at daily TF to see trades for the whole week, 4h for a couple of days and h1 for <24 hours?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate you elaborating these questions.

about drawing trend line. How to pick the high poit and low poit to draw the trend line? I draw the trend line is different from yours

are you intuitive to draw the trend line or based some rules?

  1. USD << BASE / CAD >> COUNTER ( COMMODITY PAIR )
  2. AUD << BASE / USD >> COUNTER
  3. NZD << BASE / USE >> COUNTER
  4. Canadian economy closely linked with US economy. Weakest US growth can result in decreased export for Canada.

Traders should focus on the trend in commodity prices ( Natural Gas, Timber and Oil ) to determine weather the CAD, AUD,NZD are likely to rise or fall

  1. Moving on to CROSS AUDJPY - CADJPY - NZDJPY if you understand the concept of CARRY TRADE you will have no trouble understanding.
  2. CARRY TRADES can reverse very quickly that's why when traders picking there basket pairs should know what to add and what not too.

  1. In my previous post I mentioned I am a INVESTOR my trades could last 4 hours to 4 months depends on many other factors. My risk tolerance may not be another traders cup of tea.

No right or Wrong trend lines this is how you see the market when you adding your markers on the chart, mine are different for the same reason.

Hi Sam, I'm glad you are back posting and recovering from your injury. This post is probably the best post any trader could read steps 7-10 and finally post #8143. Which reminds me of my mentor when I first started trading the original Basket14.

PS Step 8 took me 4 years to finally understand.

I agree totally, indicators are not even that helpful, but it is very hard for normal traders to understand the fundamentals, they probably need a lot of years or financial experience. The fundamentals moving the market are unlike what some thing, big cats move it up, u lose money when they short it etc. no, it is really ot that simple, interest rates, cash flows, big institutions moving their reserves from USD to EURO due multiple Geo Political reasons, etc.
The IMF recently urged banks to lower their interest rates, why wouldn't that apply to the FED although it applied to the other 22 banks worldwide that lowered, because the macro economics in the US are on the rise etc. so many fundamental info and totally un-correlated to the indicators and what they state which is the obvious from hind sight, for example wait till the 9day MA crosses the 14 day MA in the downward direction and then short if the STOCH is above 80, ok, u do this and then boom, the currency goes up instead of down and u lose tons The reason is, there was some good news for the Numerator currency driving it up while it should have gone down coz the denominator currency had some earlier good news. This story needs a very savvy investor to track , not just robotic ions
