Exactly thats what my upper reply was about. Typical traders mentality, or rather to say financial guy mentaility is green NFP=growing economy. Untrue or maybe better said misleading.

so you havn't shorted 14xx , worth the risk IMO , still you prefer playing post fomc, thats ok

It not watching the trees but what is behind the trees. Just wait and see the f igures worsening and then we go again q4.
With a low USD the investors came into the housing market in the US. Now the investors are looking towards Europe it is cheap to invest with the low euro

I was going to short 1412 1 hour before Frankfurt...FOMC was the only reason I didn't...normally it was a very good short for many reasons...but this big events are always crazy. Now I see I could have made many pips already...but it could have gone the other way, too...so I rather wait for Asia, to have a clear picture whats going on.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Why would any smart investor invest in Europe before all ECB QE money come to market and before see where euro going to bottomed.
