Long Term weekly Elliott Wave count of GBPUSD showing the downside potential of present decline from July 2014 top to be at least 1.4190, whatever the present PA may be.
Overall view is that since Jan 2009 low, GBPUSD has been developing in a complex correction (4). Fortunately, it has gone pass the most complex and unpredictable center part, the wave x and larger (x). Now trending down on an impulse wave c and then the impulse wave up on the wave (c). Potentially develops into just a flat correction, or even further into an irregular flat ( in dotted line ).

Alt Elliott wave count is that the large initial drop was A, the entire sideways move to the right was B, and then the current short is C. We are still trying to finish an internal wave 3 of C, then back to the approximate range for 4, and then short for the final 5th wave. Either way, my trade is also short, but for different reasons and for a different length of time and reason. Thanks for posting your own count!

The pair confirmed a positive closing on Friday, the indicators of the daily chart are still well positive for now but also still showing potential negative reversals. I waiting for a possible 1,56 overshooting to sell, target 1,53-1,5286.
