Strange, On this 5min chart price crossed the TP line but the trade wasn't closed.

Here is the image where it happened to me, this is the m5 chart so you can see it more clearly, price moved 34 pips in my favour I moved to BE plus a couple of pips, it stopped me at BE, 12 pips further up than that candle reached, I checked with lots of other brokers charts and not one of them reached that high, so I've had to move to another broker.

I see you like quite a bit scalping 1 or to M5 bars. I want to ask you whether you got any experience trading the TMS on the M5 at red news releases. I've noticed that even entries on the second M5 candle after news is out, has between 15-25 pips+ potential in it. Of course the whole swing is 50-70 pips but it's down to guessing at that point if one enters at the first candle. Do you trade around news releases?

I don't trade news although pips can be made. I wait for the mkt to show its trend.

likica, what is the MTF indicator you have at the upper right corner? I search on the paperclip for something "MTF ----" but didn't find anything, don't know the name.

Hi, not sure about version 3 but certainly on the later version (and probably V.3) you can turn the DOTS lines off whilst still keeping the DOTS 'buy' 'sell' etc labels. Right click on chart, go to 'indicator list - DOTS indicator properties box - Edit. Go down to Levels and Extend Lines (which will be True) Change to False and lines disappear but still show the various levels labels. The box above this Level_Text_Shift lets you move the DOTS labels anywhere on your chart. Default is set at 0, if you type 10 in that box the labels move 10 spaces to the right.

Tripled the lot, and the second was successful, +35 pips.
This method of money management (component only - doubling or tripling the number of lots at a loss), it seems effective.
Today i was satisfied.

Be careful... this style of money management is known as a Martingale strategy as used sometimes in Gambling. This is not sustainable in the long run since a streak of losses will eventually occur at some point wiping out the account. See more here:

The first chart you entered on APB#4. Wouldn't that be a no for the trading plan?

What made you so confident to endure the big drawdown as TDI has changed to down? Was it because of what it looked like on the M15? Or did you have a mental stop? Thank you.

it s called 'TMS 10EMA Dashboard' and it s from paper clip.

Cun,

when you drag and drop the closed trades from the MT4 Account History, the arrow and lines must connect the exact time of entry and exit of the trades....
sometimes, I see missing connecting lines between entry and exit arrows.
so how can this happen?

hi Shadownet,

1st chart (GN) :I entered it from M15 as I saw TDI created div with price and crossed down MBL which was 1st APB. I showed M5 here just to illutrate we can make +50 green from M5 with TDI crossed and right PA (those PA set ups) when a pair has big ADR and market moves fast.

2nd chart (EU): I set my SL at below prev swing low (in this case it was below 200MA on M5) and yes price retraced and I could get stopped out if it turned around...

that spike was nasty on H1 and neutralized one of my H1 trades.

Thanks for your support. It was not fun to post when things a bit tense in this thread during that time so I decided to be quiet. We are here to learn and share our experience to help each other.
I finally posted my charts (at very late hour of Mel time) because of the set up that I thought others might learn from and to remind myself to be more patient (it s still a big deal to me and I have no intention to show off as a winner as I am not super yet and still learning too)
