Petr.K: do you set a firm TP or use a trailing stop? I never know what to do when letting a trade run overnight when I don't monitor an open trade. Thanks, piprac.

Hi well i don't use Trailing Stop , sometimes i'm putting PT to some strong Support or Resistance levels Or im using Fibonacci extension for my PT. SL after 100 or 150 pips at Break even or, when the price break S/R level or Fibo. Level I'm putting SL about 50 pips above or under this level .
But i know that the best thing is to stay in trade untill the price breaks the kumo in the other side. Im not doing it cause of my Money Manegment

I trade with Ichimoku on daily timeframe too but just purely on all Ichimoku indicators.

So far it's doing a great job!

Sometimes I wonder why these indicators are not discussed more often than it supposed too.

Anyway nice trades Petr. K!

I'm start trading Daily with ichi too, following all the 5 indicators and entering only 1 trade per signal (only strong signals).
The only thing I'm always in doubt is the SL placement and when to exit positions (as usual the most tricky part).

If you want Petr we can discuss it here analyzing trade by trade.

Great job Petr. Thx

Yes profit target is always tricky so i sometimes using a Fibonacci and the StopLoss is tricky except if u trading a kumo breakout :-)

No problem to discuss go ahead

I have always used Kijun Sen as my SL and trailing stop until the price closed above/below Kijun Sen.

I don't set my TP and also take only strong setups.

Hello yes i'm wondering too but i'm just thinking that when someone look at ichi in mt4 its just hard to understand without learning everything .Which i think not so much people doing right now with all the gurus and tv spots about how easy it is , and of course because lot of people want to get rich so fast that they put this at 1 Minute chart and to be honest scalping with ichi just no its not for it is made.

Why a kumo breakout is simpler? We put SL on the other side of the kumo?

I usually put my SL on the previous fractal regardless of the signal type for simplicity but I'm not sure this is the best way...

Yep other side of the kumo .. But the rule is put SL above first candle which have closed inside the kumo before break .

totally agree

maybe they believe indicators are not good for technical analysis

people believe price action trading strategies are the best

but do they know ichimoku also use give setups based on price action?

all indicators of ichimoku are S/R basically

A lot of people belive to indicators but they gave u lot of false signals of course deppending at timeframe .The problém is that they just dont want to waiting or following the rules and forgeting what the price is actually doing and looking just and the indicators or they trying to make the indicator ´´better´´ like this guy http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=519264 ..
But price action is a real thing its the hardest way to trade i think and needs lot of time .
