Yep, still quite sloppy for sure... but at least we have a few days with all news items out of the system. We should hopefully see some clear sentiment take over one way or another rather than event-driven positioning/reactions.

Yes, I shouldn't have implied rates were priced in by any means only the expectations for hikes later this year, which diverged significantly from goldfinch's expectations.

And i canceled my pending long on UCAD 2430...would have threated with 70 pips. Anyways pendings set now: 2463 and 2444. Very tiny pending long 2502.
Lock n loaded.
EU probably down to 310 then break of lows and further lower.

This is how I see it, FOMC Statement was a non-event, focus will now be back on QE = resume of downtrend.

Technical for me are also indicating a return to test the 1.11xx levels.

But looking for a potential larger correction after reaching 1.11xx levels.

the levels between 1.11111 and 1.07777 will be the epic levels for us to catch the run toward 1.55555 in long term.

is it always like this with news events, seems to me you are almost guaranteed to get 15 pips each way in the first seconds. just buy with a tp of 15pips and sell with a tp of 15 and watch them both go to profit in a few seconds lol. tempted to try it next red news event.

Agree, from a technical perspective, euro looks bad. From a fundamental perspective, euro looks atrocious. I am also looking for a drop below 1.12 in the short term.

You are correct- nothing new. Euro still going south. Currently it could be the case that many bears took their profits, and are now looking higher for short (my case, and I believe many others).

It could be a reversal- which is unlikely, but not unheard of or impossible as Ken has stated.

This is a very tricky area for me personally- I believe it's more clear for our Sr members like gator, sisse, ken, hatch, etc. Those are the ones I look to see if my numbers match up. 154x is one of them
