Who said stop orders? what about brokers hunting stop outs? Last time rare were who had bid below 1.20, most had 1.2005 low, some 1.2003 1.2000, searched for the ones who had any prices other than the scammers who had 1.1990, found none. The last ones had ask 1.2005 and 1.1990 bid, so was a clear hunting of clients accounts margins. No matter if buyers were not supposed to use lot of margin like that, BUT bid price hadn't go to 1.1990 in REAL.
Knew that Fxcm covered clients losses from the fake 1.1990 price, maybe because they saved lot of money due to no many open orders during Swiss NB 1.2097 intervene.

If Swiss NB keeps eurchf franc on this price until then, better name it a Casino, although I doubt Ecb will do anything on 22 Jan.

I think this 1.2008 low 1.20011 high no matter how many news passed EU CPI, FOMC, ADP, Payrolls, shows Swiss NB afraid of freeing this pair, they prefer holding it on both sides buying and selling until?! Because they could had took advantage of floods to euro and selling of francs to pump it to 1.2030 or so.
Reminding that the only recent time it got out this price was by an intervention.

Swiss NB will have no option than INTERVENE AND SET NEW FLOOR, 1.25 or 1.30 whatever price they value their currency not overvalued vs euro.

If they intervene without a new floor, it will be a waste of money for them(unless they real intervene like 1000 pip) BUT Excellent for us, 100 pip(don't think they'll do it for this little) intervention will find the pair here again after a month or so, for us to buy again. Either case we WIN, better intervene on market open(price already1.25 or so on brokers platforms), although not sure if can be done due to no past similar occasion.

SNB is not that dumb to hold the EUR knowing where it is heading but sell the EUR for USD .........

Hey Swiss NB, intervene in eurchf not usdchf! Anyone having my thoughts that they are buying dollars, selling francs and getting rid of some euros?

Swiss NB seen the main player in the markets nowadays. Working on cashing profits on exchange rates, raising dollars reserves, lowering their euros and maintaining eurchf 1.20 by this. Meanwhile, they lock eurchf price. If intervention will be necessary at anytime, they'll do it from the already profits.

Smart decision if the're thinking like this.

I see that you dont understand how a CB works.They have a Portfolio to manage i.e. 40% Euros, 30%USD etc. What they do is sell chf for eur (manipulating eurchf) and than eur for usd etc. They dont do that to make profits

Briefly, for your info, in 2014 Swiss NB had 12 billion exchange rate gains. Go study then come back.

You can ask yourself why they had profits from forex in 2014. For this purpose you need to know how to read the SNB balance sheet.
They have a fix ratio for the PF-diversification. I think they increase the usd ratio back in 2013.They are the biggest hedge fund in the world.

Everyone seems to have demo account here. either live accounts can not remain long months to pay swap. My advice to all the real accounts you lose money, time, and theres no intervintion from the SNB will come soon . do you know why? coz they want your free and easy money
