We have candles with long tails on hourly chart which might signal weakening of bear power.. it's good to keep an eye on 120.53, my half cents..

Couple hours into the Tokyo section, I'd think now it's safe to expect the 120.50 and 120.50 range would hold till tomorrow ISM number comes out in London section.

Big week for USD while all key data is rolling out day after day.

Folks,

Good morning and start of a new week and to see that US dollar strength has brought down most of the currencies paired with it except for the yen. Usd yen seems to be stubborn to move above the previous high, but the recent power of Us dollar has now, i guess convinced all the pessimists (including me) that 127.xx is calling out very loud. I guess it will only be a matter of time and patience when UJ breaks out of the high and thrusts upward.

I'm watching this pair for an intraday trade. First I want 120.816 taken out and hold that area and above on a couple of solid intraday closes (60 m). Then I'll fade the retrace at 120.66

I think it's pretty obvious the 120.50 has became the resistant for now.

The 120.70-80 resistance zone continue restricting the USDJPY up-move as the safe haven demands support the JPY a bit; however, a breakout is more expected and the pair can test 121.80 soon.
