DislikedI'm another one who is interested in ichimoku. I'm newbie in this system, I found several whipsaws getting me false signals by Kumo breakout technique during manual back-testing on software. I tried figuring out a way to get me out of ranging market for a while. Thank you so much Petr for thread and your idea really help me.Ignored
DislikedI have watched this system using Dax which is the German stock market index, and to be quite honest you could do quite well just trading on the crosses of Tenken sen and kijun sen without taking too much notice of cloud, it does best when there's a clear space between Chikou and current price of course, but I have to say it could be quite a relaxing way to trade, preferably in TFs of no less than m15Ignored
Disliked{quote} My take is this NZDCAD is in the phase to test the daily kumo where your sl sits imho. Another relook at the charts - The spike high done on 16 Dec unlikely be broken for the near future, so a test at the top end presents shorting opportunities, I could be wrong.....lolIgnored

DislikedI've got 2 questions: 1. In Kumo break trading; if we wait for a chikou span to break the cloud, then we see it break but the price has already gone down or up very far a away from once Kumo break occured. Do you still trade follow that kumo break. See attached picture as example. 2. Do you consider Kumo break if it's not the first break out, but after the first break; price move a bit back to kumo stay inside there a bit then break kumo again. Thank you. {image}Ignored
DislikedI'm a bit sad to not see more pleople using Ichimoku. For my point of view it's one of the most amazing system existing for trading on the markets. Each time I see a topic on Ichi I hope for a lot of replies but that's not really the case. Ichimoku is not just an indicator, but a total system, showing support and resistance, trend, bying and selling signals. The difficulty is, that you need to learn about this system, and to understand it clearly. It's not just buy and sell arrow in green and red. But at the end you can make really nice pips. Thanks...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Your position had a peak profit of usd1600+(3% of equity)/pip gain 120+pips on 30 Dec when your 2nd lot was executed. When you posted above your prediction the profit showed usd600. Question - why didn't you tp and move back in the market when price reach your predicted level ? Now usd342/-17pips..........curious.......Ignored
