Thanks.. but this is the daily chart.. it could take serious time and also the Chikou span of Ichimoku on daily is still above candles. Bullish momentum is not over yet. Since volatility is low it is the best to wait for coming week or weeks to see more confirmation that price could drop.

I closed my short position, wait for news release and PA.
With my broker the spread on UJ ( ~0.8 ) is considerably more than on EurChf ( ~0.2 ).

Was short till awhile ago and tempted to go long now. Not sure I wanna risk anything after that sweet short ride. I might long for one quick scalp and call it a day but it's 10:30 so there is still some action left till 1pm maybe ny time.

Yes 119 looks like a decent spot to me, might be the last time we see under 120 for a long time.

119.26 is the decisive lvl.....all eyes on it.

Done scalping and done for the day but if I were you and you'd wanna stick around I'd watch 119.50/65 closely before there is bullish confirmation. I also think a squeeze is in for today at some point before 16:00 est. Goodluck.
Long from 118.99 I like that number.
The fave time for a squeeze seems to be after the London 4pm fix. Particularly if it is a Friday.
The final London fix might be 4:30pm, not sure.

He gives his analysis and all and it sounds good. Sounds convincing and everything yet read his last sentence. He's out of here. Meaning he's not trading what he has analyzed. What does this say?

Aren't you just sick of these ppl who give out a ton of analysis but don't have real money not fake money in some training account but actual money that they trade according to what they analyze.

We all are on different time zones, look where his trading from and it's nearly 31 December.

However as a general observation it is difficult to separate the scammers from the traders.
People who wish to declare their validity could have a trade explorer - however there is a problem with that also.
I have closed my trade explorer, I just post my account balance from time to time.
I may stop doing that in the New Year if I move to a much more significant account-size.

Hi Forex fairy. I've no issue with what you posted - and I really wasn't going to come back here today because, as Louise pointed out, it is already NYE where I live. It's now 0930 on NYE and I'm off to the beach in a few hours for tapas, drinks and fireworks.

I was simply pointing out a logical prognosis, extrapolating all the moves thus far. Some days ago, I posed the question here as to whether 119.5 would be tested and/or survive. A few hours ago, I suggested that, should 120.3 AND 120.1 get taken out, it would probably fall rapidly. It did. As such, those moves were easy to "predict", but I'm never so arrogant as to state categorically that they WILL happen.

Right now, it sits in a place where the next move or "wave" is a little unpredictable. Being right on the edge of the 4hr ichimoku cloud, it may yet be rejected back to about 119.9/120, or it may fall down to 118 first. I really have no idea. In essence, though, it still appears to be following the course of being in a large triangle - until new data confirms otherwise.

I fail to comprehend how such calls could be construed as being out to scam people, but I was primarily trying to inject some reasoned (right or wrong) analysis into a thread that too often relies on the expectation that Abe San and his bully boy mates over at the BOJ will be the sole driver for what is, after all, a floating currency pair.

However, I will let you in a secret - I'm not trading UJ at all. Any and all analysis on this pair is solely used for my trading GJ.
