looks to me like 1.2250 lows will be tested soon.

my lower targets are still valid, we still have time.. w/o a LL those 24xx are do a visit.. even with a shallow LL they are valid, irregardless bull bear. i would like a shallow LL and look to reload 24xx/up till this weeks hi.. the lager tf closes are bearish.. w/o a LL.. 24xx is probably where a bear or bull will go.. after that trend says break the low part 2, or 2599.. 2480 can become important (2473) again.. still have time to make a LL,, blue boxes

Price didn't meet 2343 so no Euro trades again today and I'm more inclined to shorting Yen/Aussie ATM. Could be some plays there on a small retrace...

Unstable situation in Greece and Russia will not support appreciation of EUR in coming weeks. US Dollar has much better perspective to strengthen till the end of the year.

we had a b/o in 2010, this may need little retrace if any..

its not about the fed.. its about whats forcing the fed and the ecb to change policy... the fed is just reacting.
copper and oil told the story before any policy change was announced.. oil from the u.s. has a multiple affect on jobs and gdp. its about energy cost comparable.

What caused the b/o in 2010?

I understand what you're talking about regarding energy forcing policy change- but I'm looking strictly at the missed 2012 low, and how we are in a much similar situation right now, technically.

I understand- but that's long term (2+ years) comparatively. Short term of a year, it wouldnt be out of the question for EU to retrace here would it?

By the way, if I haven't said it- I absolutely enjoy talking with all of you. It's enlightening to learn the opinions of you older folks that have been here awhile (fx, phant, gator, siss...) so thank you for being around. Even if you can be assholes.

barely made it?? lol last month was a bomb of a data, and the fact we are still close to expectation only missing by 1.5 is no big deal.
anyways if you thought that outcome was bad for the USD. then why isnt the USD being sold off? USDJPY breaking above 119 again....
