im short from 1.56830(SL 1.5735) and i'll long this pair 1.5450-70 area ...
Shes quite strong but break under 1.5630 will make her fly thru 1.5595-5600

Bad data today should not have any lasting impact, main risk events coming up this w/end (Japanese elections) and next week (Fed's meeting). I would expect $ profit taking to continue ahead of these events which should support cable over the next few days. It will be up to the Fed then to show which way next, but let's keep in mind that the USD has had an amazing bull run and profit taking could take place into year end even if Fed-speak will continue to be relatively hawkish. Also, cable bulls should find some comfort in the fact that despite the November low at 1.5580/85 was broken at the beginning of the week, the break was not sustained and the pair quickly rallied back up above 1.56. The market seems to be slowly waking up to what has been obvious all along, that is if the Fed hikes in 2015 (and imo that's still a big IF) the BOE will be right behind it.

Technically we remain in a downtrend but it's getting riskier to sell rallies at these levels as buying interest is obviously there. Probably we're not going to see any major break either way before next week. Good luck

everything is possible in this market but what clear the path is triggers.if gbpusd breaks 1.5624 it will go down to 1.5599-1.5574 with high probability and then with a divergence and sure trigger it can bounce back.
