Comment JPY Pairs Follow-Up:

As you can see, all are back at, or near the highs of the day as the LS comes to a close. This is a sign the MMs are either still at work closing their longs, or have already shifted to building their short positions. After all, what is the prescribed action at highs? Buy low, sell high. It is as simple as that as the LS closes on a Friday.

Time will tell if I over reacted. As I saw it and see it, starting with the Asian session Friday, the MMs were selling off - closing longs and later opening shorts.

The Asian session MMs started off with price at highs and sold off (supposedly closing longs) and were still at the table for the LS run back up to go short. The LS MMs closed longs at the same time and then they ran it down (going short) into the US open. The US MMs hiked it back part way, then whacked it to the lows of the day and then ran it back even higher and then ran it part way back down. So they too had opportunity to close longs and open shorts. And, I interpret the move back up very late in Friday after hours trading as the MMs hiking the price back up so it will open high next week and they can resume closing longs/opening shorts until they are ready to pull the rug out from under it.

In part, I see this as bearish because I see all the JPY pairs becoming bearish. It is rare that position building takes place on Fridays. That the price on all the JPY pairs was push up on Friday has to mean the MMs desired to close their longs before the weekend, or at least start closing their longs before the weekend, and maybe even to start building short before the weekend. So, something must be up that the MMs are aware of. That there is tentatively two JPY releases next week adds spice to the brew. And why only "tentative"? This all adds up to something unusual and I am suspicious of it. But, putting my suspicions aside, and just trading what I see on the chart, I see the charts of all the JPY pairs right at the turning point from bulls to bears.

Look at the Day charts of the JPY pairs and you will see what I mean. USDJPY is the only one of them that remains "high" relative to historic prices. There was the thought that this could go higher, due to an inverted H&S previously posted on the H4 chart. But on the Day chart JPYUSD has retraced back up 62%. The numbers for the retrace study and the H&S do not jibe. I tend to go with the retrace study, especially considering the multiple strong pushes down in price on Friday.

My trading started when I saw the price break to the lows in the US session. But it stalled out and then stared back up, which I thought was going to be only a temporary retrace before moving lower. But, as the retrace went ever higher I decided to go for it, even if they took it all the way back up, because if they were establishing a range to be used into next week to prolong the closing of longs and opening of shorts, my average entry would be near the middle of the range. That means I should have opportunities to vacate for no loss should this phase start to look as though it might be dragged out.

My goal was not to pick a top. I waited until a valid Classic short setup in the US session, after repeated strong runs down of the price. For my money, the last big run up was a Stop Hunt on those that shorted during those preceding runs down. My average entry price at the whole number is not a bad place to be the way things look. The trade went into profit briefly at the after hours lows. Then too, there is always the possibility of a gap down next week. We can never know how price will move. Time will tell if I over reacted.

As an aside, but this might be significant, you will see on the JPY pairs that Friday the MMs seemed hell bent on getting prices above a whole number. They did very well in this regard with AUDJPY, but they struggled with EURJPY, GBPJPY and NZDJPY. On the other hand, USDJPY was already well above a whole number coming into Friday. So most of the PA on USDJPY Friday, whether up or down, was predominately above a whole number. This, from PVSRA, we know could be a sign the MMs are bears.

Sonicers, this might be worth keeping an eye on.

Friday and today much time and activity has been above the whole number (PVSRA = bears), and even now there continues a lot of activity in the whole number area while the MMs continue to support the price. It could break low at any time.

I am suspicious that the ranging might continue into tomorrow, because if this is being set up for a dive, the greedy Robber Banks/MMs will try to load up as much as possible, meaning for so long as they can sucker longs in. After that, they might do a fake breakout run down to re-motivate more longs in, so there will be more longs to Stop Hunt later, before they initiate any real drive down.

However, we can never know how the price will move next, so it warrants watching.

EURUSD:

My take on this is that the MMs are bullish. PA today appears to me as follows.

The Asian session Robber Banks/MMs gapped the price up a bit and then continued to manipulate it higher, so as to close previously accumulated longs at good profit. Then they drove the price back below the whole number to start rebuilding longs. Same with the LS MMs, up to close old longs at profit and back down to start re-building long below the whole number. I could be wrong about this, have been before.

Right now the Dragon continues an upwards trek. It is above the Trend and both seem near to start angling up. But right now they are flat - no trading when flat! - and so, though a new break up could come at any time, the MMs could suddenly whack the price, too!

We can never know how the MMs will move price next. So, it is best to let this play out longer. It is only Monday.

EDIT: This sudden move up thru DR1 on high activity could be the MMs head faking up, sucking in longs while here, at these highs, the US MMs - as maybe did the Asian and LS MMs earlier - close old longs. Now, the MMs have a new crop of others that have just gone long. If the MMs are indeed bulls, then a Stop Hunt on these longs is surely coming. So, the question remains, are the MMs bulls that are profiting by closing their old longs and suckering in a new crop other longers that they can Stop Hunt later? Or, are the MMs bears, fabricating upwards momentum to close their longs and build short as others flock in to go long? Only time will tell. This is a reason to be very careful about trying to find a trade early in the week. The MMs might not be finished posturing for the real moves they have planned for later in the week.

Post #1 is the thread page for Sonic R System. Everything is explained in Post #1 and by the material linked in Post #1. You must read all that required material, with your thinking cap on, if you are serious about this. It seems to me that you have not even read the Sonic R. System Manual linked therein!

Please do your Post #1 Homework instead of asking questions. All serious Sonicers do their Post #1 Homework - on their own - to learn the Sonic R. System. And if they can, you can too.

We Sonicers, one and all, are simply traders learning to become better traders. We each do the work required of us, and we trade, and we share. But we do not have time to spoon feed anyone that comes here looking for things to be laid out on a silver platter, especially for them on their request. That is why Post #1 was created in the format that it has been created.

If you are serious about learning the Sonic R. System, please do your Post #1 Homework. Learning the Sonic R. System, and to be competent with it, is a process, not an event. Post #1 will lead you to worthwhile material to read, to think about and to help you get started on the right foot.

Sonicers, this is back up to the possible breakout level. You can see how the MMs are controlling the price below the half number (PVSRA = bulls) until they are ready for it to go up. I think this warrants a close watch from this time forward. We cannot know how the MMs will move price, but this is sustaining signs of the bull.

Closed for gain of 13.9 pips average, 222.6 pips total.

Looks like this could go higher. Decided to take profit and wait and see what further develops.

USDJPY Long Trade Open:

M15 Classic re-entry, pre-LS.

On the heels of closing my short trade, for which I had greater expectations and a chance to exit for greater profits, I am now seeing the potential for a bull run. It might only go back to previous highs. There is no telling how the price will move. Since the week opened the MMs have put the price back below the whole number and have kept it there (PVSRA = bulls?). So far today the Asian session MMs have been continuing the move up from the lows of yesterday. So, I count this current move down - a retrace to the EP zone of an earlier "setup" - as calculated opportunity to switch to a long trade.

This is based in part on MMs having driven the price below whole number - imho as conclusion of a Stop Hunt of longs (and probably the third one in the last seven trading days!) - that was followed by a strong recovery & bounce up. Closed for gain of 23.3 pips average, 139.7 pips total.

I would anticipate this is soon to break upwards thru the half number. Maybe today. But, maybe also today there will be a Stop Hunt on longs in conjunction with the USD releases. I really don't have any idea, but I have decided to take profit and wait and see what develops.
