just entered a counter trend - short term(minutes/hours) short on GN expecting a retracement to at least 2.04 with SL of todays high 1.20538

Hey PoundTrader,

I'm starting to do the same thing.

I believe it's best to only open trades on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's and close them out on Friday especially if they are deep in profit unless I feel that I can let them ride for many weeks or a few months.

What's your thoughts on this and what days do you trade on?

Do you place trades on Monday's or wait until Tuesday's because most Monday's are really slow?

The market is in a tight squeeze right now and trying to pick a direction to breakout from.

CAD, CHF, NZD are trying to get stronger but let's see what happens before this GBP GDP q/q news is released...

I trade monday thru friday but if i get into a trade lets say monday or tuesday and it's takes off like gbp/nzd and im up by 300 pips before friday i will close the trade by thursday close 5pm est, it's seems like when there's a big trend early in the week friday likes to takes to reverse the trend a little and take pips from you, plus i like to get a early start on the weekend
